#Is it hurting you
I know that you've been asking 'bout me (ha-ha)
Well I'm sorry but I've got somebody new
And my hurting is just about over
But baby, it's just starting for you!

I occasionally watch Formula 1. Everyone who talks about microplastics needs to see how much tire debris is left on the tarmac from each test, qualifying, and race.

I'm pretty sure that my plastic use in my entire lifetime won't even touch the sheer *excess* of a single F1 weekend.

Not that personal responsibility doesn't matter - our individual choices matter! - but wow does it feel like showing up with a dust brush at a volcano explosion 🥲

almost-halfway through Shinkenger so far, I like it. I was wondering how this would hold up compared to my memories of Power Rangers Samurai and it's surpassed it, the characterizations are great and there's a steady progression that I felt was lacking in Liveman. the Kamen Rider Decade episodes are also good, I just finished those; still have not idea what this nigga's deal is but I'm a little more motivated to find out in the future.

I don't think people are retarded. I think some people really just need to have a captain on the ship. To them Columbus will always be the one who "discovered America" simply because he was the captain, even though the new continent was literally named after Amerigo Vespucci, the Italian explorer who actually charted the land.

Despite all the ongoing news, I have a good friend who saw through all the Scamdemic/vaccine nonsense, but is still a 100% true believer in Trump. The Epstein situation or the way Trump has destroyed the economy with his intentionally retarded tariffs, have not changed his view. He's also still 100% onboard with Elon being a great man trying to change America, and will either not consider or handwave away Elon's massive data mining operations, brain chipping and technocratic beliefs.

These are the classic "trust the plan" people, who can't talk about specific policies, only about the specific people they want to guide the ship.

Extreme heat and extreme rainfall are now becoming "a new normal" in South Korea.

"At Muan International Airport in South Jeolla, an automatic weather station recorded 142.1 millimeters (5.6 inches) of rain in a single hour — equivalent to 11 percent of the region’s average annual rainfall — through the night."

Air quality not great in Ventura/LA counties, drift from the Gifford Fire.

A good reminder, if you don't already have a HEPA filter (Corsi Rosenthal boxes FTW!), it's a good idea to have one available in case of wildfire smoke drifting in your direction. (they are also handy if someone has a respiratory disease in your house, for removing pollen for the air for allergies, and clearing your house of the worst AQI pollutant I have found exists -- well done bacon! Smells good... but not good for your lungs, LOL)
