@Forestofenchantment @satsuki By the way, before he was doing this, he was running tours under his own company in new york city. People would pay him to get shown around and he would end up just getting hammered with a group of like 20 people at the bar.

It's the funniest shit i've ever seen. And people would keep coming for the tours, like legit tourists thought it was real and he was serious. He'd just take their money and bring them to the bar for "sight seeing" and spend it all and get hammered.

reminds me of the Iraq war protest I attended in Adelaide in 2003, where 100,000 people unexpectedly turned out instead of the few thousand the police were anticipating. As a result, there were like 5 cops to 100,000 people, cops literally couldn't do a thing to manage it, and therefore...absolutely nothing bad happened and everyone left peacefully!

If I am on a jury, I will never vote to convict any real-life Dexter Morgan that takes care of any pedophile that has been pardoned, or who otherwise escapes prosecution.

For that matter I will never vote to convict anyone accused of assaulting any ICE officer either, for entirely different reasons.

Only the gunwale is foam filled.
The resat is painted inside with top coat and ventilated in chambers.

The round thing is a masked hole for a hatchet so I can get to the engine attach bolts.

Another year I will put a fixed tank, battery and bilge pump there.

For now only the gps is epoxied close to the transom.

There are also 2 cable tunnels coming out the transom for trim pads.

I was planing to troll with poles.
And maybe use nets too, but not trolling with a net. Perhaps a trap or 2.

I have moved from the Bothnian Bay to the Baltic sea. And the waves here are shorter and messier.

So at this point my first mission is to make the boat function properly in these waters.

I occasionally watch Formula 1. Everyone who talks about microplastics needs to see how much tire debris is left on the tarmac from each test, qualifying, and race.

I'm pretty sure that my plastic use in my entire lifetime won't even touch the sheer *excess* of a single F1 weekend.

Not that personal responsibility doesn't matter - our individual choices matter! - but wow does it feel like showing up with a dust brush at a volcano explosion 🥲
