She estimates ~$80K in damages to the property, but the Judge is only awarding the $5100 in unpaid rent because 'everyone's responsible' for the rest.

If she ever rents to jeets again I'd be very surprised.

The tenants also applied for a return of rent totalling $14,500, along with "compensation for emotional distress" in the amount of $12 million, according to IRAC documents.

A question for the Fediverse: I’m learning some basic Italian ahead of my next Interrail trip. Now Duolingo charges extra for explanations and then makes shit up with AI. @Uilebheist has been very helpful, but it’s unfair to bombard them with questions. So, I need a book containing the explanations. If it were German, the book I am looking for would almost certainly be published by Langenscheidt.

Anyone who is learning Italian, or teaches it - any suggestions?

Comparing Different Types of Sugarcane Bagasse Tableware Making Machine

Comparing Different Types of Sugarcane Bagasse Tableware Making Machine

Sugarcane bagasse, a byproduct of sugarcane processing, has gained popularity as a sustainable material for making disposable tableware due to its biodegradable and renewable nature. Various types of machines are available for manufacturing sugarcane bagasse tableware, each offering unique features and capabilities. Here’s a comparison of different types:

  1. Manual Machines:

Operation: These machines are operated manually, requiring human labor for molding and pressing bagasse pulp into desired shapes.

Capacity: Suitable for small-scale production, typically producing a few hundred to a few thousand pieces per day.

Cost: Relatively affordable initial investment, making them accessible for small businesses or startups.
Suitability: Ideal for businesses with limited space and lower production demands.

  1. Semi-automatic Machines:

Operation: These machines combine manual labor for feeding pulp and automatic processes for molding and drying.

Capacity: Medium-scale production capacity, ranging from several thousand to tens of thousands of pieces per day.

Cost: Higher initial investment compared to manual machines but lower than fully automatic systems.
Suitability: Suitable for mid-sized enterprises looking to scale up production while maintaining some manual control.

  1. Fully Automatic Machines:

Operation: The kind of sugarcane bagasse tableware making machine is fully automated, from pulp feeding to molding, pressing, and drying, with minimal human intervention.

Capacity: High production capacity, capable of producing tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of pieces per day.

Cost: Highest initial investment among the three types due to advanced automation and higher throughput.
Suitability: Best suited for large-scale manufacturing facilities and established businesses requiring consistent high-volume output.

Factors to Consider When Choosing:

Production Capacity: Determine the daily output needed to meet market demands.

Automation Level: Balance between labor costs and automation benefits.

Initial Investment: Consider budget constraints and return on investment over time.

Space and Installation Requirements: Ensure the machine fits the available space and meets local regulatory standards.

Environmental Impact and Benefits:

Biodegradability: All types of sugarcane bagasse tableware made from these machines are biodegradable, contributing to reducing plastic waste.

Resource Efficiency: Utilizes agricultural waste (bagasse) effectively, promoting sustainable practices.

Consumer Preference: Growing consumer demand for eco-friendly alternatives drives market opportunities.

Choosing the right type of sugarcane bagasse tableware making machine depends on your specific production needs, budget, and long-term business goals. Whether opting for manual, semi-automatic, or fully automatic machines, each offers a pathway towards sustainable production of biodegradable tableware, aligning with global efforts towards environmental conservation and circular economy principles.

Andrzej Duda opuszcza Pałac Prezydencki.

Poniżej mój, subiektywny, ranking dotychczasowych prezydentów, od najgorszego do najlepszego:

6. Wojciech Jaruzelski - parodia urzędu prezydenta, naplucie w twarz ofiarom PRLu, człowiek któremu nie zdołano wytoczyć uczciwego procesu. Na szczęście był dosyć krótko.

2. Lech Kaczyński - gdyby nie zginął w Smoleńsku, to zapewne nasza polityka by inaczej wyglądała. No i szacun za solidarność wobec Gruzji, poniekąd też przewidział Putina w Ukrainie.

books.openedition.org/ensediti…

its a pro-Russian area that has something like 10,000 Russian troops stationed there, also the largest weapons stockpile in Europe in giagantic underground bunkers. One of the ways to tell all the "Russia is running out of missiles, Russia is running out of rifles and bullets and using shovels" bs propaganda is - if they were actually low on any of those things they would have gone straight to Transnistra at the start of the war before anything else and stocked up.

Trump’s Latest China Moves are not Concessions
counterpunch.org/2025/08/05/tr…

"A recent Washington Post report suggests a concerning “softening” in the Trump administration’s approach to Beijing, highlighting what it views as dangerous concessions on Taiwan and technology driven by a singular focus on a trade deal. However, from China’s perspective, these developments are less about “concessions” and more about a necessary, albeit

difference of UKI and EFISTUB?

Hello, what are the differences? As i understand efistub is loading straight to kernel and uki is file which connects initramfs ucode and kernel, but whilei create efistub i give parameters for initramfs and ucode so i dont understand why uki would be better? Also what would be better for encryption with esp partition or without?
in reply to DIY KARMA KIT

UKIs are good for secureboot/measureboot, because you can sign the uki, and everything inside of it be validated for secureboot. If you really like to have a secure chain without a uki, you need to validate all the boot components. You can do it with grub and gpg signatures, but is more simple to use an uki and a efi bootloader like systemd-boot
