On July 31, Serkan Onur Yilmaz announced that he was transforming his hunger strike that began on November 10, 2024 into a fast until death while his health condition is critical. Started 270 days ago, this struggle aims to denounce the “well” type prisons in Turkey which are infamous for their particularly inhumane conditions of detention and their very strict solitary confinement regime. Alongside him, eight other revolutionary prisoners went on hunger strike with the same demands: Mithat Öztürk, Ali Aracı, Ayberk Demirdöğen, Fikret Akar, Ümit Çobanoğlu, Fırat Kaya, Tahsin Sağaltıcı and Gürkan Türkoğlu.

@Xenophon @bronze I only drank three 24 ouncers in 3 hours, and was only in bed for 1 day. However, my tolerance is worse than when I was young, which is another reason why I'm trying not to drink because I think it might indicate my liver capacity is dropping, which concerns me.
I found as i got older my variance got much wider. There are days i have like 2-4 beers worth and feel kind of lit, and i had a day on vacation a bit over a year ago where i legitimately drank like 15-20 cocktails and felt fine.
