Turkey: Revolutionary Prisoner Turns Hunger Strike into Fast until Death

On July 31, Serkan Onur Yilmaz announced that he was transforming his hunger strike that began on November 10, 2024 into a fast until death while his health condition is critical. Started 270 days ago, this struggle aims to denounce the “well” type prisons in Turkey which are infamous for their particularly inhumane conditions of detention and their very strict solitary confinement regime. Alongside him, eight other revolutionary prisoners went on hunger strike with the same demands: Mithat Öztürk, Ali Aracı, Ayberk Demirdöğen, Fikret Akar, Ümit Çobanoğlu, Fırat Kaya, Tahsin Sağaltıcı and Gürkan Türkoğlu.

Anti-fascist Political Prisoner Released from Prison!

Jesse WAS an antifascist political prisoner who was incarcerated for allegedly participating in militant community defense against American Guard, Proud Boys, and assorted right-wingers who descended upon the Pacific Beach are of San Diego, Kumeyaay land, for a day-long fascist rally on January 9, 2021. Along with being an unapologetic defender of his community, TC is a nature enthusiast, father, and artist who needs our support after spending nearly two years risking his life fighting fires in so-called LA and throughout so-called California. Despite the SD DA’s best efforts to keep him caged for his convictions and his refusal to cooperate, TC has been released! Support for our comrades inside doesn’t end when they’re out—and he needs our solidarity now more than ever as he settles back into his city, finds work, and helps raise his kid. Let’s show him some love and remind him how much he means to us. Please donate and share widely.

Patriots Wanted: DHS Drops Age Cap, 80,000 Americans Rush to Join ICE and Help Clean Up Biden’s Mess

thegatewaypundit.com/2025/08/p…

I was blown away reading this new research from the site Muckrack.com, which finds a rapid decline in the number of local journalists per resident across the United States. I knew the situation wasn't great with more news sites relying on AI-based news gathering for more content, but this drop is way more precipitous than I thought:

"Using data that’s never been tapped before, we now know just how severe this local journalist shortage has become. Less than a quarter-century ago, the United States had about 40 journalists per 100,000 residents on average. Now, the equivalent number is 8.2 Local Journalist Equivalents, about a 75% decline. (Local Journalist Equivalent is a new measure we’re introducing, akin to a Full Time Equivalent or FTE).

A Business Owner's Guide to Secretarial Services in 2025

As we navigate through 2025, finding the right support isn't just about delegating tasks – it's about building a partnership that helps your business thrive.

Picture this: It's 3 AM, and you're drowning in a sea of unanswered emails, missed calendar invites, and administrative tasks that seem to multiply like rabbits. Sound familiar? That was me last spring, before I finally admitted I needed help. Like many business owners, I'd fallen into the "I can do it all" trap. Spoiler alert: I couldn't.

The Search Begins

"I just need someone to handle my inbox," I told myself. Oh, how naive I was. As I began exploring secretarial services, I discovered a whole new world of possibilities. Modern secretarial support isn't just about managing emails and answering phones – it's about finding a true business partner who can help your company thrive.

Sarah, a fellow business owner, shared her story with me over coffee. "I went through three different secretarial services before finding the right fit," she confessed. "The first was too rigid, the second too inexperienced, and the third... well, let's just say they thought AI could replace human intuition entirely."

The Awakening

Here's what I learned: choosing the right secretarial services provider is like dating. You need chemistry, shared values, and clear communication. And just like dating, there are some definite red flags to watch out for.

I remember interviewing one provider who promised they could handle everything – and I mean everything. "We'll manage your social media, do your taxes, walk your dog, and probably solve world peace while we're at it," they claimed. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

The Real Deal

After weeks of searching, I finally found my match. What made them different? They asked questions – lots of them. Instead of just listing their services, they wanted to understand my business, my pain points, and my goals. They weren't just selling secretarial services; they were offering solutions.

"Tell me about your typical day," their representative asked during our first meeting. When I described my chaos-filled schedule, she nodded knowingly. "Let's break this down into manageable pieces," she suggested. That's when I knew I'd found a keeper.

The Learning Curve

Getting started wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. There were hiccups – like the time my new virtual assistant accidentally scheduled all my meetings in Pacific Time when we're based in New York. But here's the key: they owned their mistakes and learned from them.

Making It Work

Now, six months in, I can't imagine running my business without my secretarial services team. They've become an extension of my company, anticipating needs before they arise and solving problems I didn't even know I had.

Want to find your perfect match? Here's what worked for me:

  • Start with a clear picture of your needs. Are you drowning in paperwork? Struggling with customer service? Make a list.
  • Look for providers who ask questions about your business. If they're not curious during the sales process, they won't be invested in your success later.
  • Test the waters with a small project. See how they handle communication, deadlines, and unexpected challenges.
  • Trust your gut. If something feels off during the initial conversations, it probably is.

The Happy Ending (Or Rather, Beginning)

These days, my 3 AM panic sessions are a thing of the past. My secretarial services Singapore team handles the daily administrative tsunami while I focus on growing my business. They've even introduced me to efficiency tools I never knew existed.

Last week, I ran into Sarah again. "How's it going with your new team?" she asked. I couldn't help but smile. "They just handled a client crisis while I was in a day-long strategy session," I told her. "I didn't even know about it until they sent me the resolution summary."

That's the magic of finding the right secretarial services partner – they don't just take tasks off your plate; they give you the freedom to be the business owner you always wanted to be.

The Takeaway

As we navigate through 2025, finding the right support isn't just about delegating tasks – it's about building a partnership that helps your business thrive. Take your time, trust your instincts, and remember: the right secretarial services provider is out there, ready to help you write your own success story.

And who knows? Maybe next time you're up at 3 AM, it'll be because you had a brilliant business idea, not because you're buried in administrative tasks.

This all happened in about thirty seconds.

I was thinking about Searx. Then I thought, wouldn't it be cool if I got a ton of people on a Searx on my IP to just absolutely befuddle the algorithm? Then I thought of what a great idea it would be to have just a network of Searx instances, and even Youtube and such, for people to all make searches and watch videos and whatever on one another's IP addresses so the algorithm can't pin any data to anyone. Then I realized I just basically invented the Tor network.
