So now we have women all over workplaces that used to be men only.

I have one question.

Did the productivity go up?

Because it didn't it went down. Great work sabotaging our own industry and infrastructure, holding it back for what?

Typical workplace. Woman walks while playing with her phone, next to her walks a man carrying things.

Playing phone an girlsplaining.

Also, if every married mother would become a housewife. Unwanted unemployment would drop to 0%

And guess where he got his license from? Good old Grusom's state. Blue states are going to see more of this shit going on. Glad I don't drive anymore, for this reason. I'm glad PA doesn't license illegals, but that doesn't mean they don't come onto our highways, which no doubt they do.🤬🤬🤬

I was on my way home from making some deliveries in Ft Lauderdale and Pompano Beach. I was exactly a quarter of a mile behind this guy. I had to sit on the Florida Turnpike in my flatbed for about 6 hours while the Troopers did their accident investigation.

While I was stretching my legs and talking to another truck driver, another driver walked up from behind us. He was an Indian looking for a cigarette. He didn't speak English either.

Dead Internet Theory: Followed a link about the supposed SR-72 aircraft. Looked like AI slop. Here's the bio of 'Captain Amelia White', the 'author':

"Captain White has a commanding presence, with a confident posture and a warm, friendly smile. Her short, neatly styled brunette hair complements her sharp, discerning eyes, reflecting her years of experience in the aviation industry. She often sports a professional pilot uniform, exuding a sense of authority and expertise."

Try harder, Clippy.

@brettm The initial plan was to use OpenSMTPD, but it failed spectacularly at the use case: mstdn.social/@hexaheximal/1150…

the openbsd version has privelidge seperation for a reason, its only got the root process to open the ports, then _smtpd user for the other stuff. AFAIK the portable (linux) version works the same. Its done that way for a reason, security is most important for any mail server. Why would you not want to do that? Only good reason I can think of is you don't have root access to that machine.

Nothing to do with the notion app messenger gadget thing ..

You can try it on jobextra/notion. After ion3 was abandoned a team called notion forked it and kept working on it. You don't to hear much about it but it is very well developed if you are into such thing, and comes with plenty of documentation so configuring and customizing is a breeze. Lua scripts, and bindkeys may be the 2 key qualities that best describe it.

Enjoy

Why are they $30 each instead of $80?

Doesn't say what is inside (I assume Whiskey but what kind).

Doesn't say how large - 750ml or some custom size.

Why doesn't the Jameson site not sell it?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Elon Musk knows that he made an enormous mistake when he turned against Trump.

Trump clinched the Nobel Peace Prize yesterday.

Plus, Bill Barr completely cleared Trump of any wrong doing related to Epstein in his testimony to Congress yesterday.

Only the dumbest of the dumb brainwashed sheep have any doubt about Trump being greatest champion of peace of this era at this point.

Personally, I think Musk had a drug-fueled mental breakdown because he couldn't handle being hated.

Bluesky question for admin folks... @mackuba?

You may be aware of @pluralistic's essay on the new #Bluesky ToS requiring binding arbitration: pluralistic.net/2025/08/15/dog…

At the end he says he's setting up his own "Bluesky server" so he doesn't need to agree to the new ToS.

BUT, assuming this means running his own PDS, it seems according to this guide: rafaeleyng.github.io/self-host… step 'Create a Bluesky account', you still need to agree to the Bluesky ToS to run Bluesky even on your own PDS.

Right?

Fortunately those of us on the Fediverse don't need to agree to any binding arbitration clauses to send and receive posts to/ from Bluesky using the bridges. ---
