Godzilla -1

Went and saw Godzilla -1 tonight. hands down the best Godzilla ever. Unlike the others I've seen this one was in Japanese with English subtitles.

Unlike pretty much every other Godzilla movie I've seen this one had a good cohesive coherent story line.

The sets were excellent, really looked pretty authentic for the time as did most of the props, the effects were so good that save for Godzilla it was hard to tell what was effects and what was real. Godzilla looked extra gnarly in this one except for the lighted spikes, that was a bit hokey.

Music score was good, sound effects were good, really thundered. It was
like the old movies x 1000. I expected something special being the 70th anniversary of the original and they did not disappoint.

Dec 4 @ 22:45 I did a LOT today! Not what I expected to do. Probably not what I should have done. Certainly not what I (we, actually) planned to do. But of course I already shared that in my 04:52 update earlier. So tonight I want to talk about reading. That's something I have struggled to do since Oct 16 2008 when I had my stroke. It has been a rare book that I have been able to finish. It is just not worth the struggle when I have to go back and read the same things over and over and over again because they don't stick. IDK why I've been able to make it through a couple of books over all these years...when I was a kid I read constantly. Rode my bike to the library and got a new stack every week. Read all the time as an adult too. Until Oct 16 2008. Anyway, I'm reading a book now, on Everand. I don't remember the name. But I'm reading it. And decided to tell you about it tonight (thanks JRMat). And that's about all I have to say❣️🥱🛌

After Disney bought the land that would become its massive amusement park and resort, it received permission from the Florida Legislature and governor in 1967 to create a local government, the Reedy Creek Improvement District.

From that time until Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill Feb. 27 abolishing the Reedy Creek district, Disney heavily influenced the local government to its advantage, according to a new report Monday from the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District.
