According to the Orthodox view, the Sumerian Cuneiform dating at ~2,900 BC is supposedly the world's earliest known writing system. But we keep encountering far earlier writing examples in Europe. The findings extend from Hungary to Romania to the north, all the way to NW Greece and Bulgaria to the south.

This is the wooden tablet of Dispilio (Two Caves) discovered by sheer chance near the southern shore of lake Kastoria while digging a half submerged Neolithic fishing settlement, which was built originally on an artificial island in 1993. The carbon dating came back with a date of 5260 BC ± 40BC (ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2014…)

The 2 lines on the left have some similar symbols found written by the Vinča culture. While the 2 lines to the left have some similar symbols to the undeciphered writing system of the non Indo-European language wrtten down by the Minoans using the writing system of Linear A.

Due to the similarity between Lemnian and Eteuscan languages, Michael Ventris thought that Linear A and B was Etruscan. It turned out that Linear B was a very early version of Greek but found no connection to Etruscan. Ever since, there have been efforts to decipher Linear A using known Middle Eastern languages, without any success.

Amateur historians try to find magic meaning on the tablet, but as it usually turns out with very old texts, it is probably some boring list of items and numbers. Dispilio itself was abandoned after 5 thousand years of continuous settlement during the 1200 BC when most settlements in Greece, Sardinia & Corsica were abandoned and resulted to the great wave to the south East known as the Sea Peoples.

How can I delete the Windows 11 operating system from my laptop, which has a dual boot system?

Hey guys, I've been using Linux Mint and Windows 11 via a dual boot setup on two laptops for a while.

I hardly ever use Windows 11, except on my work laptop, so I want to delete it from my personal laptop.

How can I do this? What is the safest and easiest way, and what should I bear in mind?

There are already resources online. Some are even official by the distro you want to install. Maybe you should refer to that instead of this post.

Shell Accounts
A shell is a command line interface for an operating system. With most shell providers, a command line interface on one flavor of Linux or Unix is all you get. Eskimo North provides access to eight different popular Linux distributions and SunOS Unix. Eskimo North also full remote desktop capabilities using X2Go with sound, and also NX, VNC, and RPD without sound.

Account Types
We offer four different levels of shell accounts: Economy, Standard, Power, and Enterprise. Background tasks such as IRC bots, Game Servers, and the like are permitted on all account types except student. IRC servers are not permitted because of their tendency to draw denial of service attacks. Standard, Power, Enterprise, and Super-Max shells include a MySQL database allowing you to run a variety of LAMP stack based applications on your website and to use non-web based applications that require a database.

Web Hosting
Web hosting under our domain is provided with all shell accounts. You can host your own domains with virtual domains or web hosting packages.

Remote Desktop
Remote desktop capability is like having a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers plugged right into our servers. Because our servers can be accessed anywhere in the world, this allows you to have a work environment you can access from anywhere in the world without risking losing your files to a laptop, tablet, or phone thief. We offer remote desktop capabilities on all of our shell servers except for the SunOS server. We support x2go, nx, vnc, and rdp protocols. X2go is the best choice as it provides extremely efficient compression and X round trip removal as well as sound.

Applications
Applications include Office Suites such as Libre Office and Caligra (which can read and write Microsoft Office file formats), Web and Program Development tools such as Bluefish Editor as well as many other editors, compilers, interpreters, scripting languages, debuggers, profilers, and online documentation.

E-mail
Our e-mail system offers unprecedented flexibility. You can access your mail via shell mail readers including graphical mailers like Thunderbird, or via Web mail, or via pop-3 and imap mail protocols, complete with TLS encryption. Our mail system includes Bayesian filtering with Spam Assassin which can be individually configured for your needs. Procmail allows you to sort and process mail automatically. Smartlist allows you to maintain mailing lists.

Security
Access to all of our servers is available via strong encryption. The shell servers all support ssh access. All of the remote desktop protocols tunnel via ssh. We maintain all of our servers up to date keep with the latest patches. Backups are made weekly.

Eskimo North has been providing Unix timeshare services since 1985. We have been providing Linux timeshare, shell access, web hosting, e-mail, and Internet services since 1992. @trabex I understand that logic, but I'm confident Harris would have diverged from Biden's policies anyway (Bibi sure knew it). Protesters wanted her to make that clear before the election, when she was having to walk a tightrope between being the VP and being a candidate & again, no risk to them. Protesting at Trump rallies would have called attention to what he's all about, but it would have come at a price. Protesting Harris fed into the "I won't vote for her b/c no public hard line on Bibi.
