I always hear that a normal computer user would never install an OS and that is the main reason Linux has not a higher market share. But I guess what we mean by that is that a user would never create a live usb, access the boot options and boot from there to install the new OS.
Is there a hard technical limitation when it comes to create a tool that installs a linux distro from a "normal" windows exe file, provided that the user first disables secure boot and fast boot (which are things a tool with admin privileges should also be able do on first run)?
Does such a tool already exist?

UNetbootin allows you to create bootable Live USB drives for Ubuntu, Fedora, and other Linux distributions without burning a CD. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.
DONT USE UNETBOOTIN. This tool more often than not breaks something and causes issues for people. Somebody I know used it and broke booting into Windows, he had to use a USB anyway to fix the bootloader.
Ohhh I remember Wubi! No need to boot from an install media and you can install it entirely under Windows. That method of installing a dual boot never seemed to get super popular and I guess based on the OSes listed in that article, it seems pretty dated and not updated. I'm kind of curious to know whether or not it still works tbh.
Instead of trying to make people install an OS or have to buy a new machine with Linux pre installed, just sell NVME drives with a Linux distro. Something like Mint, or Ubuntu. In my experience Linux is really good nowadays in recognizing hardware plus the people who would be the target audience are unlikely to have some exotic PC setup, probably just a standard off-the-shelf laptop with very common components.
Installing dual boot over a default windows installation would be tricky, bordering on infeasible. Because you would need to shrink the windows partition live (which is not supported (and even if you could, requires free space and comes with meaningful risk of data loss)) and alter the UEFI boot entries, which is also very risky and engineered to be protected from unauthorised writes.
Plus windows on a dual boot-one disk system can constantly erase your Linux entries (thanks Microsoft), making it basically unusable every month without grub knowledge to restore the boot entry. So this setup won't work on many systems.
So you'll pretty much only ever be able to install to another disk. And the portion of non-savvy users with a spare, unused disk is going to be effectively nonexistent.

The vast majority of countries recognise Palestine (147 of 193) so what is wrong with supporting them? They are an Irish band and Ireland supports Palestine. I do support Palestine but not Hamas but that is my opinion and anyone else is entitled to thir own opinion. Free speech is essential for democracy and to stop people from expressing what they believe is an end to democracy. It is actions that are illegal, not opinions. I speak to many people of many opinions each day and even get involved in discussions with both Russian and Ukrainians together and they have valid opinions and we leave as friends yet I seldom see that in the west now. Even in the wilds of China the students could logically support their opinions whereas in the US they could not. I hate to say it but I do blame the internet as people now think in sound bites rather than books.
I live in eastern Germany and have many friends from Ukraine and Russia. This has completely changed my view on this topic. I feel the same way; I don't think either side is right, but we need to watch and listen and realize that things are much more complex than they appear on the surface. That's what I've learned. I have lived in many countries but as far as Ukraine goes, when living in Azerbaijan I did not really like it and I was there for 2 years so I spent all my time on holiday in neighbouring countries. Favoured Georgia but liked Ukraine. So I still have good Ukrainian friends with different opinions. My friend Bogdan is from Luhansk and his parents were bombed for years whereas my friend Yuri is from north of Kiev and thinks very differently but they do not shout at each other and we sometimes are with a friend Pavel from Belgorod who works with Bogdan. They are just ordinary people. Politicians like wars but people prefer friendship. I was in Georgia when Russia came to visit so I have no liking for the Russian government (I ran back to Azerbaijan) but I have many good friends who are Russian and that is the point. People and governments are very different things. We judge other countries by their governments but we judge our own by our friends. Other people are doing the same. I have lived in Arab countries and 95% of people are great people but just like everywhere there are 5% who create a negative impression and all governments are evil. Iranian people are wonderful but I agree that the government are evil. We are taught to believe a lot of lies but all governments lie... no exceptions. Most people are decent.

Macrobloging services are message systems that allow long form posts similar in format to Facebook. These allow for works of fiction, poetry, technical papers, news items, short stories, and more. These formats are most useful for discussion of social issues.
Microbloging services allow only short form posts similar in format to Twitter. While you can link to larger articles elsewhere, you have a relatively short character limit and so can not post them directly.
Censorship, is handled much different on the fediverse than on mainstream media like Twitter or Facebook. On the fediverse, each individual instance is responsible for content available on that instance, but does not censor the rest of the network. Thus if you find the rules of one instance too constraining you can move to another.
Federated search engines are analogous to federated message systems in that each instance chooses what portion of the internet it wants to crawl. When you enter a search term, the local instance queries all of the federated instances, collates and sorts the results and presents them to you. As with messages, each instance can have it’s own censorship policies but no one instance can censor the entire network.
Given the wild-west nature of the fediverse, it is probably not suitable for children under 14, and you’re guaranteed to find some material that will offend virtually everyone. With federated search engines, material that is inappropriate will usually be flagged sensitive or nsfw (not safe for work) so as long as you don’t expand material marked as such, you can avoid this sort of material. There are occasionally people who violate these rules, we do our best to remove such individuals none the less some will get through.

Hubzilla.Eskimo.Com Hubzilla is similar in message format to Friendica in that it allows long posts. However, it specializes in it’s ability to provide connectivity to multiple protocols and so we include it in our mix of federated services primarily for the better connectivity it offers. Hubzilla provides a great deal of interoperability between many networks though ActivityPub is still it’s primary protocol. Hubzilla gives you a greater degree of control over privacy than some of the other networks. You can create private channels that are served between hubzilla instances and other compatible instances.
Mastodon.Eskimo.Com Mastodon is first and foremost an alternative to Twitter. While Twitter has Tweets, Mastodon has Toots. The format is very similar. Mastodon toots have a limit of 500 characters. Similar to the short limit of Twitter. This is why this platform is referred to as a Microbloging format. Mastodon interacts with other ActivityPub instances however when a long form blog post from another instance arrives, you are only shown a short portion with a link to follow to see the full post on the originating site.

Shell Accounts A shell is a command line interface for an operating system. With most shell providers, a command line interface on one flavor of Linux or Unix is all you get. Eskimo North provides access to eight different popular Linux distributions and SunOS Unix. Eskimo North also full remote desktop capabilities using X2Go with sound, and also NX, VNC, and RPD without sound.
Account Types We offer four different levels of shell accounts: Economy, Standard, Power, and Enterprise. Background tasks such as IRC bots, Game Servers, and the like are permitted on all account types except student. IRC servers are not permitted because of their tendency to draw denial of service attacks. Standard, Power, Enterprise, and Super-Max shells include a MySQL database allowing you to run a variety of LAMP stack based applications on your website and to use non-web based applications that require a database.
Web Hosting Web hosting under our domain is provided with all shell accounts. You can host your own domains with virtual domains or web hosting packages.
Remote Desktop Remote desktop capability is like having a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers plugged right into our servers. Because our servers can be accessed anywhere in the world, this allows you to have a work environment you can access from anywhere in the world without risking losing your files to a laptop, tablet, or phone thief. We offer remote desktop capabilities on all of our shell servers except for the SunOS server. We support x2go, nx, vnc, and rdp protocols. E-mail Our e-mail system offers unprecedented flexibility. You can access your mail via shell mail readers including graphical mailers like Thunderbird, or via Web mail, or via pop-3 and imap mail protocols, complete with TLS encryption. Our mail system includes Bayesian filtering with Spam Assassin which can be individually configured for your needs. Procmail allows you to sort and process mail automatically. Smartlist allows you to maintain mailing lists.
Security Access to all of our servers is available via strong encryption. The shell servers all support ssh access. All of the remote desktop protocols tunnel via ssh. We maintain all of our servers up to date keep with the latest patches. Backups are made weekly.
