Russia proposes holding a new round of talks with Ukraine on June 2 in Istanbul eu.eot.su/2025/05/28/russia-pr…

Jean-Claude Delhez :

Quelle action offensive propose ISW ?

Une question me taraude.

MacOS sucks as an operating system. No going around that, it's designed for mono tasking, or full keyboard use. No window tiling, dock can't minimize apps by clicking on them, the green button puts everything full screen...

The Global menu is great though, I wish it was well supported on Linux. No cut and paste for files and folders in the file manager is completely insane, and dragging files to other folders, or even to an open app is SO SLOW.

Installing apps was OK once you get used to it. The app store is pretty useless, as everything I wanted to use wasn't in it: resolve, firefox, GIMP, rectangles, an app for nextcloud notes, obs, steam, none of them are in the app store.

Virtual desktops are ok: gestures are good, but I'd argue GNOME does them better now: three fingers up in macOS doesn't show the virtual desktops, you also have to move the pointer towards the top of the screen to reveal them, or create a new one
You also can't just swipe right with 3 fingers to get to a new virtual desktop and start opening apps there.

Clicking on a window only focuses it, it doesn't select what you want, which is also annoying to get used to. Font rendering is absolutely great, though, especially compared to font rendering on Linux.

Now in terms of hardware, there's very little that's wrong with this macbook pro:

  • The display is pretty great, high res, color accurate, high refresh rate, it's very good, bUT it's also covered in super reflective glass, without a matte coating. The keyboard took me a while to get used to, no numpad on such a big laptop is annoying. The webcam, mic and speakers are insanely good, and trounce everything I have ever used with Windows or Linux.

But, in the end, I still prefer using my Slimbook Executive 16. Why? First, while the build quality of this mac is undeniably better, it's also extremely heavy. 1.5 kilos for the executive 16, 2.1 kilos for the Macbook

The ports on the mac are far less useful as well, lacking any USB A port. In terms of trackpad, I'm not super convinced by the one on the macbook. It's huge and precise and gestures work really well, but the click is just so unsatisfying.

M1 is a cool architecture, but it also has trouble running VMs for operating systems that aren't ARM based, which means it's basically unsuitable for my day to day work where I need to test distros, on a VM first, and then on actual hardware.

On geekbench, It scores 2038 in single core score, which isn't bad, and 12636 in multi core, which is among the highest I've ever reviewed on a laptop, and it was on battery, not plugged in.

Battery life is insane, with 14 to 16h of light work, and 6 to 8h of video editing, compared to 7 or 8h on the executive, and about 3 to 4h of editing.

In the end, I have more fun using my Executive 16. It feels solid enough, although it does scratch more easily, it weighs less, I like its keyboard and display just as much, and I actually prefer the touchpad on the Executive The mic, speakers and webcam aren't super important to me, so I don't really mind the downgrade, but I have to admit the ones on the executive are just way below the ones the macbook ships with.

On top of that, my Executive can run a full blown Linux distro, and VMs, which this mac can't, yet. Of course I'll try Asahi on it at some point, but for now, it looks far from ready.

Sex candy and erotica also offer a solo pleasure ritual

The intersection of sensual storytelling and edible indulgence is giving rise to a new kind of intimacy experience—one where lollipops and literature go hand in hand. Welcome to the world of sex candy like 11oysters natural sex boost candy and erotica, a playful and provocative pairing that blends the imagination of words with the physical pleasure of taste. It’s a multisensory adventure that transforms reading into an act of seduction.

Erotica has long been a gateway to fantasy. Through rich language and evocative scenes, it engages the mind and stirs the senses. But when paired with sex-themed confections—think aphrodisiac-infused gummies or suggestively shaped chocolates—those fantasies can feel even more immediate and embodied. Each bite becomes a tactile extension of the story, linking narrative arousal to physical sensation.

This pairing isn’t just about novelty. It taps into how our brains process pleasure. Reading erotica activates the same neural pathways as physical touch and arousal. Add in a sweet treat that melts on the tongue or tingles with spice, and you're amplifying the experience. You’re engaging taste, smell, and imagination all at once—creating a loop of desire that’s both cerebral and sensual.

Boutique brands are starting to embrace this fusion. Some companies now release curated erotic short stories alongside their candies, designed to be consumed together. You might unwrap a lollipop flavored with rose and chili while reading a scene of slow-burning seduction. Or pop a passionfruit gummy as a character dives into a moment of intense pleasure. The edible becomes part of the plot—a kind of edible punctuation mark for the prose.

Sex candy and erotica also offer a solo pleasure ritual. For those exploring sensuality on their own, it’s an empowering way to combine self-care and fantasy. You choose your setting, your sweet, and your story. It’s a personal ceremony of indulgence, one that doesn’t require a partner but is easily shared if desired.

There’s also room for play and humor. Not all sex candy is serious or sultry. Some options lean cheeky—like tongue-in-cheek lollipops or chocolate body parts—which can bring levity and laughter into the mix. Erotica, too, can be witty and lighthearted. Together, they remind us that pleasure doesn’t have to be polished or perfect. It can be deliciously human.

As intimacy culture becomes more open and creative, combinations like sex candy such as the benefits of 11oysters candy and erotica reflect a growing desire for layered, sensory experiences. They speak to the joy of slowing down, of savoring not just what we feel, but what we imagine. With each turn of the page and each lick of the lollipop, we’re invited into a world where taste and tale ignite the senses—proving that sometimes, the sweetest fantasies are the ones we can taste.

Quoting Gideon Levy on how Germany is betraying the memory of the Holocaust through its response to the situation in Gaza:

[...] It is difficult, if not impossible, in Germany to criticize Israel, no matter its actions. This isn't friendship; it's a subservience to the past that must end in the face of Gaza. The "special relationship" cannot include legitimizing war crimes. Germany has no right to ignore the International Criminal Court, which was established because of its crimes, and to consider inviting a prime minister wanted for war crimes. It has no right to continue reciting clichés of the past and laying wreaths at Yad Vashem, an hour and a half's drive from Khan Yunis.

My friends, hi, I am pretty drunk and going to bed soon but one thing I want you to know as I do is, tomorrow's Big Story involves Elon Musk, feral neo-nazi presidential advisor Stephen Miller and Steven Miller's gross neo-nazi wife who apparently actually fucked Stephen Miller at some point who was also then assigned to be a nazi control agent of also-nazi Elon Musk, and a "polycule" happening and that going eerily creepily wrong - and haha holy fucking shit, I swear I am EXTRA-sex-positive normally but I want you all to know, because I love you, that even if YOU are also EXTRA-sex-positive, this news cycle will be an absolute FUSILLADE of blowing chunks and it is ok if you do.
