I think part of the solution here is to explore mutually beneficial (thus a lot more sustainable than aid) deals with Ukraine. More economic deals. Industry-thriving agreements on defence, agriculture and energy. Take that energy cash flow going to Russia and invest it in Ukrainian energy. But I have no clue how feasible that is.
