🟢 The destruction in Tehran and Isfahan is the result of these hidden workshops. Israel is afraid of an open confrontation, and we can already see how it is using all its resources – because it realizes that all it has is time. And time is working against it.

🟢 The leadership of the operation has long since passed from the hands of the National Security Council directly to the headquarters of the Supreme Leader and the military command. The war is now being waged precisely, cold-bloodedly and without compromise. Iran has an arsenal of ballistic missiles hidden deep underground. Not a single enemy attack has reached them.

🟢 Let us repeat once again: Israel started it. But Iran will finish it.

🟢 And he will finish it with calculation, dignity and restrained but crushing force.

Testing out #Tuba as a #Fediverse client on #LinuxMint.

So far so good.

It used #OAuth to authenticate to #Sharkey. That's a plus.

It correctly sees that my posts have a 5000 character limit. That's nice.

But it's missing certain things like #Markdown/ #Misskey-Markdown preview (oh, and it can't handle #tags with a hyphen in them I see).

And I can't seem to figure out how to get it to automatically expand any CWs and show me sensitive media. Ok, this sucks. I'm an adult and very little offends me. Treat me like an adult, will you?

So why even look at Tuba in the first place?

Because #Chromium is causing my #LinuxDesktop to freeze and stutter, and I've traced it back to Chromium. Uninstalled Chromium, everything is fine. Reinstalled Chromium, no bueno.

And it's not like I have that many extensions installed! Bitwarden, Linkwarden, Floccus, DarkReader, and DuckDuckGo. That's it!

Anyways...

Funny you should mention that actually! At work, I'm just finishing up a website for two companies that are merging. One is English speaking, but the other required multiple languages to be available for the whole site.

We used a system that uses DeepL. None of the non-English speakers (across 8 separate languages) say that the result is satisfactory. I know they might be being difficult etc but I was genuinely a bit surprised that entire swathes of the site is so poorly translated by DeepL that they've delayed the launch to go through and manually translate lol

Is this possible?

Ok, so I have a weird setup, but if I could get this shit to work, it would be crazy.

First off, I have one of these

The neat thing about that is, your hard drive can be ejected very easily. And a new one inserted. It also has a spot for a slave drive that can do the same thing.

Right now, I'm using ZorinOS as my daily driver. I don't know how exactly I became a Linux user, but, I guess at this point I've been using it daily since the week of Christmas 2024. Which was like 6 months ago now.

Anyways, self realizations aside, I have an idea. I've installed Lutris on this install, and I have run out of room for my games. I also have an 8TB hard drive I'm not using.

My plan is to use the 8TB hard drive to do nothing but install games to. Then have Lutris look for the games on the slave drive. Now here's where it gets interesting.

What if that 8tb drive gets filled too? Well, I could buy a SECOND 8TB drive!

What if I install Game 1, Game 2, and Game 3 on SSDSlave1 and then I install Game 4, Game 5 and Game 6 on SSDSlave2.

So now, I'm playing Game 2. But I want to play game 6. So I just turn off the PC, swap slave drives, and turn it back on. And now, it's ready for me.

Oh, but we're not done yet.

I'm using SSDMain1 with ZorinOS with Lutris installed. What if I swapped hard drives to SSDMain2 with Mint with Lutris installed? Then whichever hard drive is inserted is what dictates what games I can play. Like an old school NES except now for modern systems.

So, recap. Slot 1 should be able to swap between OS's,

And slot 2 would be able to swap between games.

With any combination working, since they'd both have Lutris installed.

Is that possible?

The past is a wilderness.
Tragedies piled upon tragedies, and horrors that slip into my sleep, and fill it with nightmares.
I wait for time and my mind to bury the horrors so deep that they seldom make it to the surface.
The tragedies continue to break my heart, and don't heal. They are renewed by the slightest things.
A wilderness of grueling desperation, almost impossible to endure. Angels have witnessed it.
Love and responsibility would start my heart, and get me on my feet, to do the things I must do.

The past is a wilderness of sweet moments so golden, shining like the Sun, that will never happen again.
Silver, and diamonds sparkling, like sparkles on waves, that will never happen again.
My heart and mind are heavy with all of it. My eyes overflow with tears from all of it.
My wilderness has rendered me silent.

Now I understand old people who sit for a long time with their eyes closed. What are they thinking about?
What are they seeing in their mind? I think they're seeing a past that is a wilderness of sweet moments,
so golden, shining like the Sun. Silver, and diamonds sparkling, like sparkles on waves.

"Since late 2024, Gaza has undergone a transformation that defies traditional frameworks of war or occupation. What is unfolding is not mere military conquest but engineered disintegration — one in which Israel actively cultivates Gaza’s collapse by empowering criminal militias, fragmenting authority, and dismantling every pillar of Palestinian social infrastructure.

At the center of this unraveling stands Yasser Abu Shabab, a 32-year-old Rafah native of Bedouin descent. Once imprisoned by Hamas on charges of narcotics trafficking, Abu Shabab now leads the “Popular Forces” (al-Quwat al-Shaabiya), a militia operating with open Israeli backing in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Publicly, he postures as a provider of order and protector of humanitarian aid; in reality, he is the linchpin of a proxy war to replace governance with warlordism and clan-based coercion.

Abu Shabab’s rise is no accident. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has admitted to “activating powerful clans in Gaza” to counter Hamas, as corroborated by former right-wing Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, as well as media investigations showing his militia operating in Israeli-controlled zones, armed with AK-47s seized from Hamas and redistributed with the approval of Israel’s security cabinet."

Sfard says that many Israelis are caught up in nationalistic fervor, encouraged by media that amplifies pro-war voices. There's a danger that the government will exploit a potential conflict with Iran to intensify its actions in Gaza, possibly leading to further ethnic cleansing and mass killings. The destruction in Gaza is indefensible and potentially constitutes war crimes, with future generations bearing the burden of these actions.

[…] "No war with Iran will erase our crimes in Gaza. Over the weekend, a shocking article by Nir Hasson, Yarden Michaeli, and Avi Sharf was published here about the destruction of Gaza. Read it.
