As long as loans are actually paid back, itâs not inflatiionary over the long term since the dollars are returned (with interest) and that money is not chasing goods and services. Defaulted loans are different, so you need to have good risk management and keep those under control.
Wealth inequality is simply the result of freedom. People make choices, not all of those choices are good ones. If you started fresh and gave everyone the same amount of money, inequality will return as time goes on. Itâs the natural order of things. Some people may not like it, but true equality == slavery. But money paid back isnât inflation over the long term because you are taking money out of circulation by paying back a loan. That money is not chasing goods and services and acts as a demand suppressant to counteract the demand increase by the loan.
