in reply to Spartacus • • •Reports in the US media speak of about 30 GBU-57 bombs dropped at the Fordow nuclear facility. Each such bomb weighs about 14 tons. That's 420 tons of explosives dropped at the Fordow facility but no one knows if the granite and concrete layers have been penetrated.

in reply to Spartacus • • •I doubt it were 30 cause 6 to 8 B-2 were sent of which each can carry 2 bombs.
For 30 they'd would have to attack several times. I doubt they did.
The wear and tear of fully loaded aging airplanes is pretty big btw.
That's why you see Russian strategic bombers never shooting full loads of Kh-101.
But it's true they don't know if the bombing was successful.

I don't know how many B2s they sent so I don't know if it's 30 bombs.
What I'm willing to bet though is that all they managed to do is make a hole in the water.
Or maybe a few holes in the Iranian mountains.
