Trump says US has attacked three nuclear sites in Iran

Well, fuck. Now I guess we get to find out. Bee sure to tune in at 2200 Eastern for whatever rambling mess Trump is going to spout off.

I hate weekends.

Donald Trump announced Saturday that the US had completed strikes on three nuclear sites in Iran, directly joining Israel ’s effort to destroy the country’s nuclear program in a risky gambit to weaken a longtime foe amid Tehran’s threat of reprisals that could spark a wider regional conflict.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” Trump said in a post on social media. “All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home.”

Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” he added.

The White House alerted television networks that Trump would address the nation at 10 p.m. EDT.

Nanook doesn't like this.

Trump Has Bombed Iran. What Happens Next Is His Fault.

The US is the only nation on earth that can rival Israel in its ability to play the victim when the ball they’ve thrown at the wall bounces back.

I doubt it were 30 cause 6 to 8 B-2 were sent of which each can carry 2 bombs.

For 30 they'd would have to attack several times. I doubt they did.

The wear and tear of fully loaded aging airplanes is pretty big btw.

That's why you see Russian strategic bombers never shooting full loads of Kh-101.

But it's true they don't know if the bombing was successful.

The USA has made it clear that only nuclear armed countries are considered sovereign by the Empire. North Korea is weak in every other way, but is treated as an equal. The long term outcome of that is that every small nation will want nuclear weapons.

Nuclear weapons for small nations is the same argument as gun rights for individuals: it's the only thing that deters a bully. By being a bully, the Empire makes everyone want the only weapon that seems to deter the Empire.

“They have plundered the world, stripping naked the land in their hunger… They ravage, they slaughter, they seize by false pretenses, and all of this they hail as the construction of empire. And when in their wake nothing remains but a desert, they call that peace.”

Stephen Miller driving congressional aides crazy with calls

Trump’s Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller is so involved in every aspect of the Trump administration’s efforts to radically reconfigure American democracy that congressional aides have reportedly begun complaining about his incessant phone calls.

Ignoring the fact that his “outreach wasn’t always welcome,” Miller would call congressional aides for lengthy, aimless conversations about illegal immigration that contained no specific requests, according to a damning new Wall Street Journal report.

One aide likened Miller to a “grandmother who wouldn’t stop talking,” and compared his phone calls to podcasts. Other aides said that Miller would call to scold them about how they had worded something in a press release or framed an issue in a social media post.

@monarchist
This one I thought was really a little bit brave and risky but it is so couched and analogy and metaphor and simile and storytelling and allegory that I don't think anybody will be offended by it that plus the fact that nobody reads anything I've ever written except you and just you and I think one of the guy who likes my stuff I think three people total and that's enough because just keep on asking I only need an audience of a hungry one hungry one person and I'll continue doing it

MacOS Preview equivalent

Title mostly says it all. Preview is unironically an incredible piece of software. Between feature set and ease of use, I have yet to come across any FOSS that is comparable. Anyone know of a Linux alternative?

EDIT: Due to popular demand I should explain Preview more. It’s a “fully fledged” PDF editor, but somehow it’s completely different from something like Adobe Acrobat. The way most users will interact with it is as a seemingly very plain image viewer, but if you open a PDF you can add fillable boxes, rearrange pages, split and merge PDFs, etc. I cannot place exactly why it’s workflows feel so much better than something like Acrobat.

I’m already running Linux. I’m looking for an application that can run on Linux that roughly matches the feature set of MacOS Preview for image and PDF viewing and basic editing.

HEARD... #Pakistan just granted #USA military permission to enter and operate in their water space. It's closer to #Iran. This, according to my CNA who has a lot of relatives back there. So a tip, possibly accurate...? US has staged from there before.

Analysis: Did Israel strike Iran when it did while soon-to-retire Gen Michael Kurilla is still commander of U.S. Central Command?

In April, Israel news outlet Ynet coined Kurilla as “The U.S. general Israel doesn’t want to strike Iran without.”

Analysis: "Israel's criminal attack on Iran is based on lies"

But western media just offers more cover for more crimes.

Netanyahu "warned of an imminent Iranian nuclear bomb in 1992, 1995, 2002, 2009 & 2012."

We recall the 2003 lie that Hussein’s Iraq could “deploy chemical or biological weapons within 45 minutes of an order to do so”.

Now we get the lie that an Iranian nuclear bomb is imminent.

owenjones.news/p/israels-crimi…

#Israel-IranAttacks #USLies #USPol #UKPol #EuroPol #CdnPoli .

okay everyone, here's Khameni's response after the bombings, with english subtitles. bc everyone is out here acting stupid.
note that after the attack he still uses the hypothetical "IF" the united states chooses to enter this conflict.
hours after the fact, i am still convinced that everyone (except netanyhu i guess?) knows this shit's for shows, the iranians suffered a bruise and said they will seek "legal action".
the only question here is whether or not israel keeps hitting. if they do, iran will keep hitting back and i guess over the last week we learned that israel ain't shit. they can massacre a couple hundred more iranians, but it seems even with 3-4 western navies in the mediterranean helping with missile defense, they're taking too many hits. israel is a speck of a country people. you can't just be losing a couple buildings every night.
and then IF israel hits back we'll see something interesting. whether trump will go in or not. after tonight, i'm genuinely convinced he doesn't *want* to go in. he's willing to put on a show for the neo-cons but he really doesn't *want* to sully his name. he won't *want* to do anything that'll make the iranians hit u.s. assets (except israel bc they started it). it doesn't mean he won't be pressured. but that's what trump signaled tonight.

Lety Does Playing on a Playground V

Sensitive content

This entry was edited (19 hours ago)
in reply to Chiamouse

Hihi! Thanks so much for watching my video!

As I mentioned around the one-minute mark, I filmed this before noon on a school day when I knew children would be in class and made sure the playground was completely empty.

Additionally, this playground is tucked behind dense greenery. The only ways in are either across a narrow 500-meter open lawn or over an old wooden bridge through the trees, both routes giving me at least a one to two–minute heads-up if anyone was approaching.

I also strongly reject the idea that playgrounds are especially off-limits to adults. Like any other open area in a municipal park, they are public spaces funded by community members' tax dollars, including my own. Though some public spaces may prioritize specific demographics, when no one is around, they are all neutral environments.

Calling private conduct inherently predatory just because of a location, especially when that location is empty and no one is affected, completely waters down the seriousness of real predatory behavior.

Sexual misconduct is about power dynamics and consent. Such behaviors become harmful when someone imposes themselves on another person, abusing their position of power and authority.

None of that was applicable here, as I was alone. There was no one to pressure, no one to expose myself to, no one to involve in any way.

I truly apologize if I caused any offense, but I stand by the care I take to respect legal boundaries and ensure the absolute safety of others.

Trump lists reasons he deserves Nobel Prize in epic meltdown

Donald Trump posted a laundry list of reasons why he believes that he should get a Nobel Peace Prize.

In a Truth Social post, the president celebrated that he was “very happy” to report on a series of deals and agreements to end global conflicts that he “won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for.” The post came on the heels of Pakistan’s announcement that they plan to nominate him for the 2026 award, _The Hill _reported.

"If Congress can employ money indefinitely, for the general welfare, and are the sole and supreme judges of the general welfare, they may take the care of religion into their own hands; they may appoint teachers in every state, county, and parish, and pay them out of the public treasury; they may take into their own hands the education of children, the establishing in like manner schools throughout the union ..it would subvert the very foundations, and transmute the very nature of the limited government established by the people of America."

- James Madison

in reply to Flat Moon Theories

> only a retard want a committee to run the military.

That's why they made the President Commander in Chief.

But they were too wise to leave the power to start war with one man.

“The Constitution vests the power of declaring war with Congress; therefore no offensive expedition of importance can be undertaken until after they have deliberated on the subject and authorized such a measure.”

- George Washington

“In no part of the constitution is more wisdom to be found than in the clause which confides the question of war or peace to the legislature, and not to the executive department. Beside the objection to such a mixture of heterogeneous powers: the trust and the temptation would be too great for any one man"
