Como un móvil Fairphone, con una cadena de suministros sin esclavitud ni explotación medioambiental. Con un sistema operativo y software libre, para conectarte a redes libres.
Pero esa gente, no solo se regodea en su indefensión aprendida, sino que utiliza su cenicismo para decirte que eres poco "pura".
Para ver todo en 0 o 100, y así quedarse otra vez en seguir completamente dentro del sistema sin querer imaginar otros futuros posibles, pero también otros presentes habitables.
Para mí existen siempre varias opciones en cada decisión que hacemos. Y siempre hay una más ética según varios ejes.
La opción ética nunca es la fácil, cómoda y barata. Pero es la que te permite ir construyendo un mundo más justo en el que te apetece vivir, y más justo para les demás.
Cuando esas opciones no son suficientes, a veces puedes sentirte con fuerzas de crear otras alternativas.
Por eso para mí el activismo no es solo ser conscientes del problema, sino actuar.
Un ejemplo que me encuentro de vez en cuando es la gente a la que el decrecimiento le parece poco. Que directamente quiere que volviéramos a una sociedad preindustrial.
Suelen ser hombres jovenes quienes defienden eso.
Si la sociedad colapsa de golpe, cosa que es posible, quienes más sufrirán será la gente más vulnerable. No tenemos la misma cantidad de personas en el plantea que antes de comenzar la sociedad preindustrial.
Tenemos que encontrar fórmulas nuevas que sean más justas para todes
Qué curioso, yo pienso que el decrecimiento es de las mejores alternativas. Además... Lo de idealizar las sociedades pre-industriales tiene algo que me resulta conservador. Quiero decir, porque renunciar a avances tecnológicos (por ejemplo, los medicinales)... No sé si estarás de acuerdo, pero yo entiendo que decrecer no es una posición anti-tecnológica, más bien es estar en contra de producir innecesariamente, solo por generar ganancia y no para cubrir necesidades.
Estoy totalmente de acuerdo en todo. En una sociedad preindustrial como miope habría tenido una vida muy dura. Con mi tema del riñón no habría pasado de los 30 años.
El decrecimiento como dices es no producir más quienes tenemos más privilegios, ayudar quienes tienen menos que puedan tener mejor calidad de vida pero de mejor manera (ej, electrificación sin carbón, solar y en comunidades).

Es que es eso!! La tecnología tiene el potencial de hacer la vida mucho más fácil y que merezca la pena de ser vivida. Además el ser humano ya no puede vivir sin tecnología, estamos ya en un punto en el que dependemos de ella, y no pasa nada por admitirlo xdxdxdxd. El problema es más bien como los avances tecnológicos están al servicio de la explotación, aumentar ganancias, las armas, etc, etc...

Cuando se presenta una alternativa que es éticamente mejor pero que produce alguna fricción o coste para adaptarse a ello (de precio, de tiempo/aprendizaje), en lugar de reconocer que no queremos asumir ese coste para ser coherentes con nuestras ideas (lo cual nos metería de lleno en un juicio moral, argumentaciones, etc.), contraatacamos buscando cualquier defecto a esa alternativa para invalidarla.
tengo siempre la misma lucha y en muchos aspectos de la vida hay que optar por soluciones de compromiso. Buscar una opción que no contamine tanto o no sea muy nociva para la privacidad. I bought Microsoft NTFS for Linux by Paragon Software for a linux version of chkdsk. It also includes "ufsd" a somewhat redundant driver for reading and writing ntfs. (I already had ntfs-3g) What are the differences between ufsd and ntfs-3g?

I dual boot and and I have 4TB HDD that is also formatted to NTFS. I can access both from my Linux system, and move files between the two, with ntfs-3g all the time. I even have them both automount on boot and have never had an issue.
Until this post, I've always thought this paragon software was to be used on Windows to access the Linux ext4/btrsf... Etc drives!

There's a famous argument for the existence of God which goes like this: 1. Everything has a cause 2. The universe exists 3. Therefore there must be some cause of that existence that is outside of the bounds of the universe.
This argument works until you ask what created God? So there has to be something eternal. As an atheist, my opinion is that the universe is eternal. Most people will then point to the big bang, saying "well the universe can't be eternal because we know it had a beginning". But that's not entirely true. The big bang was a singularity, meaning all the mass was concentrated into a point. Not a point in space; space or time doesn't even make sense in a singularity. It's just the farthest back that we can possibly know about. We know of one other type of singularity and that's a black hole.
My crackpot theory is that everything ingested by a black hole over it's entire life becomes a universe within the black hole. The timeline would be entirely separate from our timeline and they would see the origin of their universe the same as we would. They would have the same vast space that we would no matter how large the black hole. It would follow that we are in a black hole with potentially infinite black hole layers above us.

Often works but I tried this in Cambodia once when the air was hotter than my body temperature and the humidity was high enough to stop the sweat evaporating. Currently in the UK where relative humidity seems high enough to sweat working too. People used to far hotter temperatures are complaining about how opressive the heat is and can't understand it, because they're used to dry heat.
