You know how we, in English, say a "flood" of people? In Koine Greek (both within and outside of scripture) a gatherings of people are sometimes called "clouds."
An example from scripture would be how Christ's second coming is described as being "with the clouds of heaven" in some verses and "with His tens of thousands" in another about the same event (within any version). (Some versions lean full on with the actual idea of physical clouds and say "on" the clouds but still say "with" His tens of thousands in the other verse, but the "on" is not there.)
Anyway, the idea ties with the Koine Greek way of saying that you and I are "in the air" (which is not to say in the 'ouranos', the 'heavens'), and this is the same as what we, in English, would call "on the earth." (Wave your arms. Feel the air? You are in the air, but not the "sky." So "in the air" people might gather into "clouds.")
That's the meaning too of the "prince of the authority of the *air* " in Ephesians 2:2--it's the "prince of the authority of *here* " in our way of speaking.

I thought I had a post bookmarked I made commenting on all of the verses that say "kingdom of heaven" or "kingdom of God" but I can't find it. those 2 phrases are interchangeable. You should listen to this though.

I don't get the point you're trying to make. They weren't healed because they physically touched his clothes, vs those who tried to but couldn't reach.

But it clearly states that the belief they would be healed is the reason. It had nothing to do with physical contact of linen.
Not if I didn't know about it. My point is simply that the bible is clear that God does not have a mother. God is the first, and no honest priest would try to imply otherwise, so when people like Paleface say things like

I grow tired of pseudo-intellectual nonsense, especially when it fails to understand the simple concepts the Bible is trying to convey. Luke 3:38 is there to explain what "son of God" means. Jesus IS God. He is not a separate entity, or a "part" of God. God is One, and Jesus is Him.
I'm sure he did, but this view that they walked around speaking Aramaic is most likely modernistic academic nonsense. There are verses that are quoted throughout the new testament that are grammatically different between the LXX and masoretic texts, and clearly support a translation from the LXX.
My view is that they started to get it wrong rather quickly, and the wrong survived. If I quote an apostle as saying X and a rebuttal is >yeah but this church father from 300 years later said Y

But this is literally what happened before Jesus. The established orthodoxy got it wrong. All of them. So why would you expect it to be different? The entire point of Revelation, and Daniel, and Isaiah and Jeramiah etc where it talks about anything having to do with "end times" is that we still all got it wrong, so Jesus finally returns to save us for good. Jesus's first coming was about redeeming His chosen, not about fixing all of our problems.

I don't take it personally. I'm not mad, and I'm not trying to be aggressive. I just fundamentally disagree.
We could discuss Daniels 5th kingdom and who you think that might be, but I notice this funny trend where people (I'm not saying you) generally tend to hyper focus in on words or phrases and not others. Like Matt 16:18-19. But I could argue that at least from my perspective, the gates of hell have prevailed against the catholic church, so Jesus was lying, or the RCC isn't "Gods church."
Meanwhile I can quote Jer 30:30/Heb 8:8 until I'm blue in the face and people will deny that the new covenant is only for the biological children of Israel. And that Israel was a living person, not a country, and not "jews."

What was all this for? You destroyed whatever shred of credibility the U.S. retained with other nations. You demonstrated that Israel, in particular Benjamin Netanyahu, dictates U.S. foreign policy. Iran's nuclear program was not destroyed, and they will likely decide to ramp it up and build nuclear weapons.
Truly unhinged and disconnected from basic humanity.

As of now, there is NO "agreement" on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations. However, provided that the Israeli regime stops its illegal aggression against the Iranian people no later than 4 am Tehran time, we have no intention to continue our response afterwards.
