#US struck #Iran to prevent the total defeat of #Zionists.
US strike on Iran is a serious strategic defeat for Zionists and their US pimps.
It may have temporarily averted the Zionist defeat, but #Iran demystified Israel as "invincible"
US has also shown that it cannot prevail in this battle.
So White House chose the option of "escalation for the sake of de-escalation"
It remains to be seen whether Iran will accept it.

The Benefits of Hiring Professional Web Design Services for Small Businesses
As a small business owner, you wear many hats. You're the boss, the accountant, the marketer, and sometimes even the janitor. But should you add "website designer" to that list? While it might be tempting to try and save money by designing your own website, hiring a professional web design service can offer significant benefits. Let's explore why partnering with a website designer might be the best decision for your small business.
First Impressions Matter: Making Your Business Shine Online
Think of your website as your digital storefront. Just like you'd want your physical store to look inviting and professional, your website needs to make a great first impression. A professional website designer knows how to create a site that not only looks great but also represents your brand perfectly. They understand the latest web design trends and can ensure your site stands out from the crowd.
Save Time and Focus on What You Do Best
As a small business owner, your time is precious. While you could spend hours (or even days) trying to figure out how to design a website, wouldn't that time be better spent running your business? By hiring a professional web design service, you free up your time to focus on what you do best. Let the experts handle the tech stuff while you handle the business stuff!
Get a Website That Works as Hard as You Do
A good website is more than just a pretty face. It needs to work hard for your business, attracting visitors and turning them into customers. Professional website designers know how to create sites that are not just beautiful, but also functional and effective. They can include features like contact forms, online booking systems, or e-commerce capabilities that can help grow your business.
Stay Ahead of the Tech Curve
Web design is always changing. What looked modern last year might look outdated today. Singapore Web Designer stay on top of these changes, ensuring your site uses the latest technologies and design trends. This means your website won't just look great today, but it will stay current for years to come.
Boost Your Search Engine Rankings
Did you know that the way your website is designed can affect how well it shows up in search results? It's true! Professional website designers understand Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and can build these principles into your site from the ground up. This means more people will be able to find your business online, leading to more customers and more sales.
Mobile-Friendly Design: Reach Customers Wherever They Are
These days, more people are browsing the web on their phones than on computers. A professional web design service will ensure your site looks great and works well on all devices, from big desktop screens to tiny smartphones. This "responsive design" is crucial for keeping visitors on your site and turning them into customers.
Stand Out from the Competition
In today's digital world, having a website isn't enough to set you apart. You need a great website. Professional web design services can give your small business a leg up on the competition. They can create a unique, eye-catching design that helps your business stand out in a crowded market.
Avoid Costly Mistakes
Web design might seem simple at first glance, but there's a lot that can go wrong. A professional website designer can help you avoid common pitfalls and mistakes that could cost you time, money, and customers in the long run. Their expertise can save you from headaches and ensure your site is built right the first time.
Get Ongoing Support and Maintenance
Your website isn't a "set it and forget it" kind of thing. It needs regular updates and maintenance to keep it running smoothly and securely. Many web design services offer ongoing support, helping you keep your site up-to-date and dealing with any issues that might crop up.
Invest in Your Business's Future
Think of professional web design as an investment in your business's future. A well-designed website can help you attract more customers, build your brand, and grow your business. While it might cost more upfront than doing it yourself, the long-term benefits can far outweigh the initial expense.
Conclusion: The Power of Professional Web Design
In today's digital world, your website is often the first point of contact between your business and potential customers. By hiring a professional web design service, you're ensuring that this first impression is a great one. You're not just getting a website – you're getting a powerful tool that can help your small business grow and thrive online.
Remember, your website is an extension of your business. Just as you wouldn't hesitate to hire a professional to handle your taxes or legal matters, consider partnering with a professional website designer to create your online presence. It's an investment that can pay off in more customers, more sales, and a stronger, more successful business.

Living Planet Symposium 2025: Opening session
Video: 02:08:03
ESA’s Living Planet Symposium, one of the world’s leading Earth observation conferences, opened today in Vienna. The plenary session began at 10:30 CEST and included addresses from ESA Director General Josef Aschbacher and ESA Director of Earth Observation Programmes Simonetta Cheli, as well as Margit Mischkulnig, from the Austrian Federal Ministry for Innovation.
There were video addresses from President of Austria, Alexander van der Bellen, Federal Minister for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure Republic of Austria Peter Hanke and the EU Commissioner for Defence and Space Andrius Kubilius. Representatives of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, ECMWF, IPCC, Eumetsat, Nordic Bildung and ETH Zurich also spoke during the opening session.
The first images from Biomass, ESA’s forest mission, launched earlier this year, were also presented during the opening plenary.
More than 6500 participants from almost 120 countries signed up to attend the event. With more than 4200 scientific presentations and posters, the symposium provides a forum and meeting point for scientists, academics and space industry representatives, as well as students and citizens.
The Living Planet Symposium takes place every three years and this year the focus is ‘from observation to climate action and sustainability for Earth’. Held in the Austrian capital over five days from today to 27 June, participants can take part in discussions on how we can work together in the fields of Earth science and with the Earth observation industry to ensure robust data and promote effective climate action to address the environmental crisis, with presentations also on new trends in Earth observation.

This is the most amazing mental gymnastics. The jobs aren’t “taken” by immigrants. The jobs are “given” to immigrants…by employers who want cheap labor. The idea that the person making the hiring decision is somehow blameless is ridiculous.
And for crying out loud all we have to do is let them be legal. Let them register with a tax ID and work and pay taxes. Citizenship is not the same thing as a legal right to work. Let them work. Give them a clear path to citizenship and let them live and work legally in the mean time.
I'm a retail warrior with nearly 40 years of work and applying ridiculous thousands of times to work, and not one single time in my life did a squirt of an inkling of a hint of blame or paranoia enter my mind about why my shit failed that involved anyone but myself.
I got to interview a guy who specifically applied with "white victim" as his personal story. Said his previous job fired him for being white. But I didn't get a vote in hiring.
He still works for the vitamin vultures.

Trump announced a ceasefire. The ceasefire happened in his head. There have been no negotiations between the warring parties. At best, we could have a cessation of hostilities.
Iran has made it clear that they have been attacked and therefore it is Israel that needs to stop attacking. If that happens, they'll stop too. They've been saying this for days
Until Iran makes an official announcement, there is no ceasefire

It seems quite likely that Iran will now source nuclear weapons from its allies.
“Sooner or later, the Israeli monopoly will be broken. First one hostile state will go nuclear, then a second hostile state, then a third. In the first half of the 21st century, the Middle East is bound to be nuclearised. The world’s first multi-rival nuclear arena might emerge in the world’s most unstable region.”

@Drop Bear I don't think so because it's allies are members of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and I believe they, unlike the US, largely honor treaties they sign.
However, I don't think the facilities were destroyed, they were simply buried too deep, and even if they were the engineering is not so they will recreate them.

USA and Israel, the ultimate rogue states.
It’s hard to overstate or even begin to list all the genuinely awful precedents set by Israel and the U.S.’s behavior vis à vis Iran in the latest war. But if we had to summarize it in one expression it’d be “maximum paranoia and secrecy is the only rational security strategy.”Iran was paradoxically in many ways too transparent, reasonable and cooperative - accepting international monitoring that provided targeting intelligence, engaging in diplomatic processes that turned out to be elaborate traps and honoring agreements that were unilaterally abandoned.
In short, the key lesson for any reasonable third-party state is, paradoxically, be like North Korea.

The €2 Billion Microsoft Office Problem Just Got Worse: We’re Not Just Wasting Money, We’re Creating Security Disasters | by Markus Sandelin | Jun, 2025 | Medium
Someone needs to coordinate a military operation. Instead of using purpose-built operational planning systems, they create an Excel spreadsheet with unit locations, timing, and personnel assignments. They email this spreadsheet to 15 different national representatives for “coordination.” Each person makes changes, saves a new version, and emails it back.Within 48 hours, there are 23 different versions of this file floating around on various government email servers, shared drives, and personal devices. Nobody knows which version is current. Half the recipients forward it to subordinates who “need to see this.” Some clever staff officer converts it to PowerPoint for a briefing.
Final result: Operational security details scattered across hundreds of endpoints with zero audit trail, no access controls beyond “has this person’s email address,” and absolutely no way to revoke access once the information is distributed.
This isn’t hypothetical. This is how NATO’s enterprise side operates when people need to actually get work done.

The €2 Billion Microsoft Office Problem Just Got Worse: We’re Not Just Wasting Money, We’re Creating Security Disasters
Remember when I told you the EU was wasting €2 billion annually on Microsoft Office for work that could be done with €3 web forms? Those document-driven workflows aren’t just financially stupid —…Markus Sandelin (Medium)

I disagree with ‘tests of purity’ taken to the extreme. Of course a university will collaborate with a range of industries, usually with the aim of improving the way things are done. Universities support change in the world, sometimes incrementally, sometimes dramatically.

Environment Groups Condemn UTAS’ Global Climate Merit Sticker How can Tasmania's only university be ranked number one in the world for “climate action” when it collaborates with the logging and fossil fuel industries https://tasmaniantimes.Mastodon
When I pay you to legitimise me and to train my future workforce, we’re not collaborating, I’m employing you.
My dad’s a professor and I’ve been in academic environments my whole life and it’s pretty clear, at least from my experience, who’s holding the leash and who’s wearing the collar in the relationship between industry and academia.
(Which is sad because I still naively wish an academia removed from industry servitude existed as I’d love to be a part of it.)
* this is not to say folks don’t exist within this system that work against the grain of industry influence – often at odds with the goals of the institutions that work for. As a friend who heads up a department in Vienna once told me, “I’m the only one I know who said no to Google’s €100,000” (to whitewash their image on privacy)

@ojala@mastodon.nz “I sat in hearing range through this crazy New Zealand Business Community conference, and it was literally NZ’s board of corporations discussing how to dismantle and juice NZ’s remaining academia (in ways that were then directly done, as they laid out they were going to, over the ensuing two years).”

Iran’s top diplomat describes relations with Russia as close, strategic in nature

The image depicts a coastal scene shrouded in a thick layer of smoke, likely from a wildfire. In the foreground, a calm body of water, possibly a lake or sea, is visible, with a sandy beach and some beach chairs and umbrellas lined up along the shore. The beach is bordered by trees and a few buildings, suggesting a developed area. The middle ground features a line of trees and buildings, partially obscured by the smoke. In the background, a mountain range is visible, with smoke billowing from the top, indicating the source of the fire. The sky is overcast, with a gradient of colors from light to dark, suggesting either dawn or dusk. The overall atmosphere is hazy and muted, with the smoke dominating the scene and reducing visibility.
