Current annoyance with the online world. Email FOMO subject lines like "last chance" "chosen specifically for you" "your unique code" "One time offer" "enhance your readiness" "recommended" "come back with 30% off"... etc...
I can and do unsubscribe from many mailings, but there are some products and services I'm interested in.
I just wish every info packet wasn't a "call to action" in the marketing parlance.
I understand my privilege to be #peeved at this.
I'm still annoyed at it. *Grump*

in reply to Pseudo Nym • • •I mark that shit as Spam and move on. If I want to see some of the mailings or I have an ongoing relationship with a vendor I won't unsubscribe, but their mail goes into Spam by default from here on out.
If needed I'll mark something as Not Spam too. Let the Bayesian filters recalibrate and reset if needed.
But I'm with you. Hate any and all "call to action" verbs in marketing.
