According to George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, a looming Supreme Court decision on nationwide injunctions could have “enormous” impacts on the Trump administration.
Turley said Tuesday that the high court will likely crack down on rogue activist judges.
The SCOTUS is poised to decide on the practice by federal judges that can currently halt executive branch policies affecting the entire country.
Conservatives have argued that injunctions have been strategically sought in left-wing jurisdictions.
The moves are part of a strategy to undermine the Trump administration’s agenda on immigration enforcement and deportations.
“It’s going to be an enormous decision potentially,” Turley explained.
The legal scholar noted that a decision may come on Thursday.
“For the administration in the immigration areas, as well as other areas, the court could very well say, ‘Enough. We’re not going to have individual judges freezing the entire United States government on critical programs like this.”

Random shika in my yard that I didn't notice (and who didn't notice me) until quite a bit after I had walked down here with some tools to take out the concrete footing of the former fence (which is why there's a deer in this yard to begin with). She was not especially concerned about my presence. I wonder if I could get her to eat out of my hand eventually? Probably not safe for her to become that comfortable with humans though.
@wannabemystiker my hops aren't anywhere where they often go, so I don't know. They can get to them if they wanted but they don't seem to bother so they're at least not something they're drawn to. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

We have LOTS of deer, here. Right now, I have cages around the hops as I don't want to chance it while they are getting established. Next year, I'll leave them unprotected and see if the deer like hop leaf salads.

I arrived there early for my scheduled private lesson and my dance instructor was excited to get started with me. as she walks me through some steps on the dance floor, the studio manager pops out of nowhere and starts chewing her out for beginning my lesson 5 minutes before the scheduled time. what's the big deal? does the studio lose money by giving me an extra 5 minutes of instruction? just end the lesson 5 minutes sooner idk

When Adam talks about model collapse he sounds kind of silly. Models aren't live, constantly updating and degrading. They are static, and only change when the software or interface loads a new model. At this point so many models are offline and are able to be run locally (image gen, text gen, audio gen, etc) and none of them can be affected by "model collapse". Because they are unchanging. I locally use Flux.1 for 2d gen and hunyuan-3d for 3d gen. And I will always be able to, barring power loss
