There's nothing surprising about this - men and women are physically very different. Women are built to have babies, not to participate in harsh physical competitions.
The fact that men beat women in sports is EVIDENCE that women do need their own sports and that men have no business participating in women's sports. No psycho men cos-playing as women ("trans women" 🙄).
When women can compete against other women, they can do so reasonably within a range of effort they are comfortable with.
Women who practice extreme sports become infertile and lose their periods. Their bodies literally decide that they have to build up muscles for survival by deactivating all reproductive organs.

His research on the Gaza conflict, including a study surveying 2,000 households, estimates that approximately 75,200 Palestinians died violent deaths as of January 2025, primarily due to Israeli munitions. This figure is higher than official Gaza Ministry of Health counts.
Abstract
High-quality war mortality estimates, such as those that were produced for Kosovo, Iraq, and Darfur play a critical role in illuminating the human cost of war. During the tumult of war they are, however, challenging to obtain due to the conflicts themselves. The Gaza Ministry of Health (GMoH) has provided regular updates to their post-October-7 violent death tally for the Gaza Strip. However, GMoH reports have attracted both criticism and support. Here, we present results from a large-scale household survey, the Gaza Mortality Survey (GMS), which provides independent estimates of war-related deaths between October 7, 2023 and January 5, 2025. Our findings suggest that violent mortality has significantly exceeded official figures. Our central estimate for the extent of GMoH undercount closely matches a separate estimate made using capture-recapture methods. We also find that nonviolent excess deaths, often overlooked in conflict assessments, also represent a substantial burden. These results underscore the feasibility of mortality surveillance methodologies in some highly challenging war-affected settings and provide a crucial empirical foundation for assessing the true human cost of the war.

Not only has Germany not learned from its #Nazi and bellicose history, it is actively falsifying it by infringing upon long-standing traditions of memory culture with the aim of downplaying the role of the #Soviet Union in defeating German fascism.

Plante vivace appartenant à la famille des Fabacées (Légumineuses), elle vit dans les prairies, aux bords des cours d’eau, en lisière forestière... Les jeunes feuilles sont consommables comme un légume, cuites.
En tant que plante indigène, ce trèfle est entre autres, l’hôte de plusieurs espèces de chenilles ; il produit de plus beaucoup de nectar, et attire particulièrement les bourdons. Il sera source de nourriture pour les auxiliaires des cultures et aide à l’équilibre biologique du jardin.
Ses racines sont très développées et s’enfoncent en profondeur. Elles ont un effet bénéfique sur le sol en améliorant sa structure, son drainage, qu’elles enrichissent en azote assimilable pour les plantes grâce à des symbioses avec des rhizobiums.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman wanted to have at least 5 Saudi universities among the top 200 in the world by 2030.
So he paid lots of scientists to falsely claim they worked in Saudi Arabia! Some got up to €70,000 a year just for pretending to work there.
Unfortunately they got caught. The newspaper El Pais exposed the scam.
In 2022, Saudi Arabia had 109 professors on the List of Highly Cited Researchers, compiled by Clarivate. After a bunch got caught, the number dropped to 26. 🤣
Someone should carefully check those 26 researchers.
In fact this "List of Highly Cited Researchers" is a fraud magnet. As of 2024, one in three apparently highly cited researchers has been caught engaging in bad practices.
This is a great example of Goodhart's Law: ""When a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure".

Ich habe ein Mi Band 8 und möchte es gerne mit Gadgetbridge verbinden, um die offizielle App nicht nutzen zu müssen. Leider klappt das bei mir nicht, weil Gadgetbridge einen Schlüssel (Key) verlangt, den ich bisher nicht auslesen konnte.
Das Problem ist anscheinend bekannt: Viele Nutzer berichten, dass sie ihr Mi Band 8 nicht mit Gadgetbridge koppeln können, weil der benötigte Schlüssel nicht auffindbar oder nicht nutzbar ist. Auch in den offiziellen Issue-Trackern und Foren wird das Thema immer wieder diskutiert, bisher aber ohne eine einfache Lösung.
Ich habe schon versucht, nach der Anleitung auf der Gadgetbridge-Webseite vorzugehen: Erst mit der Mi Fitness App koppeln, dann den Schlüssel suchen und danach die Mi Fitness App deinstallieren, bevor ich Gadgetbridge verwende. Leider finde ich den Schlüssel nicht.
Hat jemand von euch das Mi Band 8 erfolgreich mit Gadgetbridge verbinden können? Gibt es einen Trick oder eine einfache Anleitung, die aktuell funktioniert? Ich freue mich über jeden Tipp!

Es war für die Leute völlig abwegig, dass das was die Opfer sagen stimmt, obwohl sie wissen dass die Täter bereits mehrere Zehntausende Menschen getötet haben.
Direkt an der Tat beteiligigte Täter (insbes. Verantwortliche) - haben das ja auch schon letzztes Jahr gemacht. Deren Truppen lieferten sich am Netzarim-Korridor Wettbewerbe, darüber wer die meisten Menschen tötet.

Leugnung von Kriegsverbrechen, von Gräultaten und Genozid ist etwas was zur Täterschaft dazu gehört, etwa zu den Stufen eines Genozids.

§130 Absatz (5), der sich auf das öffentliche Leugnen von Straftaten nach dem Völkerrecht §6 bis 12 bezieht.

Nach über 17.000 toten Kindern brauchts für die Leugnung der Tatsache schon einen sehr ausgeprägten Rassismus, wenn man denn Opfern noch immer nicht glaubt.
Es ist Ende Juni 2025. Berichte gibts mehr als genug. So zu tun als wäre es nicht so ist böswillig.
