Had a meeting with my manager yesterday and learned some additional info regarding the discussion I had with HR a couple weeks ago regarding the coworker who left in a huff. I’m not supposed to say anything because he told me “this discussion never happened” but you guys won’t say anything will you?

First, I DID have a small boombox where I would listen to the radio, but rarely had it on in the afternoon because I didn’t want others to possibly hear it, knowing we have many millennials working for us. So the only way he/she could have heard it was actually walking into my cubicle.

I can see where that would be harassing and uncalled for.

Whatevs… I had no problems with it at all.

A rather homely chick, but still a chick. Also, the guy would seek “her” out just to call “her” out as a dude. So I could see where one may consider that as harassment.
However, on the flip side, “she” was apparently not shy about talking/pushing that agenda. Which I would also say is not for the workplace.

During the Wuhan garbage when we were all on Zoom during the summer of love and the years or two afterward, I was in a supplier meeting with one of our engineers who had her webcam on. Behind her on her shelf was a bevy of lib policy… a Rainbow flag, a BLM sign, some crap about no one being illegal. I noticed it right away, so I am sure our suppliers on that call also saw it. I was offended by it, so someone not “down” with it surely would be as well.

Remember Michael Jordan… “Republicans buy shoes, too”

How would it work if conservative white men got offended the instant they saw a rainbow in any context, or a tranny, or saw CNN or heard NPR or saw a butch lesbian? What a world...
