Funny how the same folks who rant about "cancel culture" are so quick to shut down anything that calls them out.

I put many folks who aren't forcibly fleeing as refugees seeking asylum into same category as Vietnamese privileged folks. Those who had multiple options to safely move - keywords -> fleeing & not just 'moving' - aren't in same arenas as those left with zero choices except to flee.
I believe if you think I meant differently - check your own ego, first & then re-read my original post. Pay attention to where I clearly stated "most people". Do that & also start talking more to many others who want to leave USA, even before Trump became POTUS again & how many of those folks are still stuck in limbo - for YEARS. Talk more to longtime refugees too & truly LISTEN to their stories.
My family got no real 'free ride' in Canada. Most Canadians don't know that war refugee families, like mine, were billed by federal government. It took my parents over 2 decades to pay that off!
