On les voit, les Retailleau, les Bardella, qui, par cynisme, choisissent leur stratégie des yeux secs. On les voit sortir des graphiques, des choses qui font sérieux pour éviter toute identification. On les voit parler d'immigration, souffler sur les mêmes vieilles braises qui attisent la peur de l'autre comme un réflexe.
Mais ce n'est même plus de la peur, d'ailleurs. L'autre n'existe plus. On ne se met pas à sa place, on ne se demande jamais ce que ça nous ferait de quitter notre terre, notre langue, notre culture pour aller tenter l'avenir ailleurs. La déchirure et le danger, l'inconnu que ça représente, à quel point on devrait soutenir ceux qui tentent cette odyssée au lieu de les désigner comme des coupables, des menaces.
Mais pour ça, il faudrait soutenir leur regard et raconter leur histoire. Ce que tous les éditocrates éviteront soigneusement pour continuer de ne pas offenser la main qui les nourrit. Ils iront toujours dans le sens des préjugés qui triomphent en tête des sondages.
Alors comme ça, on ne peut pas accueillir toute la misère du monde ? Ce n'est pas une question de pouvoir ou non. Moralement, on le doit, c'est tout. Parce que les épreuves qu'ils traversent pour atteindre nos rivages doivent être considérées et honorées.
Ça devrait être notre preuve d'humanité et de solidarité la plus évidente. Je veux donner à ressentir à travers trois films ce que ça signifie l'exil. Démasquer l'indignité des discours qui humilient les exilés quand ils sont des exemples de courage. Et plus profondément, reconnaître en eux des semblables, des frères, renverser le récit avec des récits.

I have to wonder what's with all these socialist pages that don't have SSL. I get it when they're from eastern countries; a lot of them just don't bother with SSL (I actually don't know why; note to self: look that up). But are these webpages just so old and so forgotten by their hosts in the USA that they haven't bothered with SSL certs? Or is there just something about being an American socialist that makes one not care?

From a quick look around, the reason for China is twofold: One, because internet infrastructure is still not perfect there, and people want to prioritize site loading times over site security. Two, browsers don't require SSL by default like they do here, which possibly the state is fine with because it makes surveillance easier. Which I might be skeptical of, but it's weird that Edge and Chrome there both don't force SSL, and they're the only two browsers that anyone uses — China is 100% Chromium and many of their large websites straight up don't work with anything else.

@jon, I think the main reason of the negative opinion respect AI is it's overhelming hype, like a kid with a new toy, in all ambits and the abuse of big corporations, using it to profile users, logging copyright content and privat messages for the own knowledge base, security and privacy concerns, etc.

The market is filled with over 7.000 AI apps and services of any kind, even inbuild in fridges and toasters.

AI can certainly very usefull in research, science, physics, medicine, etc.. but for the normal user a ChatBot don't really make much sense, less if he use it's often biased content, instead of the own intelligence and common sense.

The only AI which may be usefull for the user are some AI search engines, like those from DDG, Andisearch and few more, from privacy respecting authors, helping to find really what you are asking for, from reliable sources and adding these.

Got some caffeine. Time for tonight's build thread. Got some Klangphonics playing :blobcatheadphones: Time to reply to old forum threads, crack mpvbuddy project back open. I want to get its pipeline working, test to see if I needs to be modified for Wayland. I could also work on the Mandriva pipeline, look into Nexus badges and also look into project funding.

Got it added to FreshCode, the current manifestation of the old FreshMeat/FreeCode websites.

Looks like there's a way to automate updates. Not sure if anyone even uses freshcode any more. I'm kind shocked I can log in with my old OpenID server. What an interesting relic of the old open source world before it was dominated by Microsoft's Github.

Il n'y a guère de phénomène plus odieux que la négation de l' #Holocauste juif. Les négationnistes ont prétendu qu'il n'avait jamais eu lieu, et que, s'il avait eu lieu, le nombre de victimes était faible, ou qu'il n'y avait jamais eu de chambres à gaz.

Mettre en doute les événements du #7octobre a été condamné en Israël, et quiconque osait le faire était qualifié d'antisémite. Lorsque Roger Waters a affirmé qu'il n'existait aucune preuve de viol et que l'histoire des bébés brûlés dans des fours était un mensonge israélien, il a été largement critiqué, comme beaucoup d'autres qui ont pointé du doigt les exagérations du récit israélien.

Ces dernières semaines, une vague de déni abjecte a déferlé sur Israël, entre autres. Ce déni est répandu dans de nombreux pans de l'opinion publique et partagé par presque tous les médias.

Nous avons essayé d'ignorer, de dissimuler, de détourner le regard, de blâmer le #Hamas, de dire que c'est ainsi que ça se passe en temps de guerre, de prétendre qu'il n'y a pas d'innocents à Gaza, jusqu'à ce que la totalité des crimes d'Israël dans la bande de Gaza déborde.

Avec le début de la famine meurtrière délibérée, il n’y avait pas d’autre choix que de se tourner vers le déni, non moins répugnant que le déni de l’Holocauste.

Le déni actuel inclut un déni de l’intention génocidaire et de l’ objectif transparent de déplacer la population de Gaza ailleurs.

Ce déni est légitime en Israël, il est conforme au politiquement correct local : il n’y a pas de faim ! Personne ne sera condamné ou pénalisé pour l’avoir provoquée.

Cette attitude est devenue courante. Les descriptions de famine délibérée à Gaza relèvent d'un complot antisémite. S'il y a faim, il faut parler au Hamas.

Voilà ce qui se passe quand on est à court d'excuses, de mensonges et de propagande. Voilà ce qui se passe quand on est tellement dévoyé moralement qu'on prétend qu'il n'y a pas de faim, même quand les choses sont évidentes. De quel droit les gens disent-ils cela ?

Il existe cinquante nuances de déni israélien, toutes aussi méprisables les unes que les autres. Elles vont du fait de détourner le regard au fait de lever les yeux au ciel, en passant par le flou, la #dissimulation et le #mensonge.

Ils ont tous le même objectif : éviter d'être blâmés, continuer à se faire passer pour des victimes tout en chantant des louanges à soi-même. Les négateurs viennent de tous les horizons.

Cela inclut quatre chercheurs israéliens qui ont écrit un essai intitulé « Le soi-disant #génocide dans la guerre des épées de fer » – dont la nudité a été révélée par l'historien de l'Holocauste Daniel Blatman et par le journaliste Nir Hasson (édition hébraïque de Haaretz) – et la femme qui distribuait le quotidien gratuit Israel Hayom, qui m'a dit avec beaucoup d'assurance l'autre jour que les images de famine venaient du Yémen ou étaient produites par AI.

Cela inclut également le journaliste moralisateur de télévision Moriah Asraf, qui a réduit au silence avec une autoritaire répugnante la journaliste indépendante Emmanuelle Elbaz-Phelps, et tous les rédacteurs en chef des journaux télévisés, qui cachent ce qui se passe à Gaza.

Le #déni accompagne #Israël depuis la première #Nakba, en #1948, qui n'a jamais eu lieu et n'a été imaginée que par des ennemis d'Israël. Il a perduré pendant toutes les années d'occupation et d' #apartheid.

Aucune société au monde ne vit dans un tel renoncement, en grande partie à cause de sa presse libre. Mais ce qui s'est passé ces dernières semaines bat tous les records de bassesse.

Il n'y a pas de faim à Gaza. Après tout, il y a des camions qui attendent à la frontière, les parents d'enfants qui meurent de faim sont obèses, il y a une vidéo de terroristes du Hamas mangeant des bananes dans leurs tunnels (une photo prise il y a six mois, aujourd'hui diffusée par le principal diffuseur de #mensonges de #propagande dans ce pays, le porte-parole de Tsahal).

Il y a quelque chose de plus méprisable que d'éviter la faute : le mépris pour la victime, pour l'enfant mourant dans les bras de sa mère qui le porte en pleurant. Lui dire qu'il n'y a pas de famine délibérée revient à la ridiculiser dans sa douleur.

Pendant des années, j'ai cru que même si nous présentions aux Israéliens toutes ces preuves atroces, ils les rejetteraient. La preuve est désormais là. Les images de famine inondent les écrans de télévision et les journaux du monde entier, et les Israéliens les nient.

Avec quelle assurance ils affirment que ces images sont fausses, qu’il n’y a pas de gens qui meurent de faim, qu’il y a des bananes, que 80 camions par jour entrent à Gaza.

C’est exactement ce qu’a fait le professeur universitaire français Robert Faurisson : il a affirmé que, compte tenu du volume des chambres à gaz, l’Holocauste n’avait jamais eu lieu.
