BTW we took my nieces to see a live performance of Les Miserables back in May.

They absolutely loved it.

Going to look for tickets to an orchestral performance for October or November. Maybe a ballet.

Trumpism ≠ Nicaragua, Cuba and Venezuela
counterpunch.org/2025/08/08/tr…

"CounterPunch recently published a piece by former USAID employee Jared O. Bell titled A Real-Time Cautionary Tale of Stolen Democracy from Nicaragua in which he compared the rapid transition to what he calls autocracy in the United States under Trump to the governments of three Latin American nations. While I understand that the point Jared More

European classical music is like water. Many people dont know the names of the musical pieces but theyve heard them and know them. They swim in it unknowingly, like a fish in water.

"This rant is devoted in loving memory to Virginia Giuffre, a woman who died speaking the truth about powerful men. I lost my virginity in preschool. I don’t know a worse way to start a post. Unfortunately, I also don’t know a more appropriate way to start this one so, buckle up. I was a More

80 Years at the Brink, Time to Change the Narrative

"For 80 years, since the atomic bombs were dropped over Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the world has stood at the brink of nuclear war with the potential for catastrophic loss, threatening all of humanity. Former Defense Secretary Robert McNamara said in the years after the Cuban missile crisis that indeed sheer luck was what prevented nuclear More

Architecture of Cities: The Theater of the Absurd
counterpunch.org/2025/08/08/ar…

"The Theater of the Absurd is something I participate in everyday: I photograph architecture: It is something real in my career- – life, the life of my career: In this universe “The Theater…” is and was imagined and executed through minds like Cocteau’s, Genet’s, Pinter’s and possibly one million more: Harold Pinter’s The Homecoming often comes to mind:

"people who have mever met a #hillbilly in their #life love to pin every bit of american #fascism and #imperialism on #hillbillies. who, it should be noted, are one of the #poorest #demographics in this #country. instead of the fucking #facsists. who are overwhelmingly #billionaires."

As far as I can tell the post-game just allows you to turn on fun mode and refills all the outposts and missions with end-game setups and boss rematches. I haven't found the dojo yet but I think if I do I can also get a boss select there too but I do find something somewhat relaxing about hiking through beautiful scenic nippon to collect more crafting bullshit and grindbits

in reply to Dowito

@Dowito @rlier23 I'd take unreadable but truer to it's actual meaning then the vile butchering of scripts that modern trannylators bring out now.

They have put us in a situation where we are being told to pick our poison and the trannylators are seething because they realize they have built enough ire that people are more then willing to take the poison that puts them out of a job.

"Some of you may not want to hear this, but sometimes #autism #accommodation means giving that #socially #awkward #person who said something that came off as #passive #aggressive or uncomfortable the benefit of the doubt. Not everyone is capable of reading #social rules and cues effectively, I thought this was autism 101."
