A todo esto... todo lo argumentan en los servicios que dan al propietario pero le cobran lo mismo al comprador. Ahí el argumento es "el mercado es el que es, si quieren comprar el piso, que paguen".

Por cierto, propietarios, el dinero que un comprador paga a la agencia es dinero que deja de gastarse en tu piso.

Travail forcé : en Italie, LVMH pris la main dans le sac – Libération

Des vêtements à plusieurs milliers d’euros fabriqués en Italie par de grandes marques de luxe dans des conditions proches de l’esclavage. Le placement sous administration judiciaire, le 14 juillet, de la marque italienne Loro Piana, propriété du français LVMH, est venu rappeler une réalité que le secteur préfère ne pas voir et aimerait bien passer sous silence : payer un sac ou un manteau made in Italy à 6 000 euros n’empêche pas que ceux-ci soient assemblés par des personnes exploitées et sous-payées.

Dans ce pays, où se concentre un peu plus de la moitié de la production mondiale de mode et maroquinerie de luxe, dont l’essentiel du prêt-à-porter, quatre grandes marques (Loro Piana, Dior, Armani, et Valentino) ont été épinglées en un an et demi par la police et la justice pour avoir, à tout le moins, été «négligentes» concernant le travail forcé. Le système, car c’en est un, est bien rodé et connu. Il s’est mis en place avec l’arrivée d’une vague d’immigration chinoise dans les années 90. Près de Florence, de Milan, déjà des terres de textile, les nouveaux arrivants ont ouvert ou racheté des ateliers de confection, légaux ou non, proposant une flexibilité extrême et de très faibles coûts. Et pour cause : ceux qui y travaillent, souvent sans être déclarés, enchaînent des heures interminables pour une misère.

«Vous tombez de votre chaise»

Dans le cas de l’expert du cachemire Loro Piana (171 boutiques dans le monde, environ 3 milliards d’euros de chiffre d’affaires en 2024), l’enquête de la justice a déterminé que des ouvriers non déclarés travaillaient jusqu’à quatre-vingt-dix heures par semaine pour 4 euros de l’heure. Ceux-ci dormaient sur place, dans des logements insalubres. Ce qui fait dire à certains activistes, comme l’organisation Clean Clothes Campaign, qu’au lieu de délocaliser les usines en Chine, au Bangladesh ou au Pakistan, les grandes marques de luxe occidentales ont importé en Europe les conditions de travail de ces pays.

«L’Italie, c’est vraiment la plateforme industrielle du secteur», assure Michel (1), un bon connaisseur des ateliers de confection du luxe souhaitant rester anonyme. Cet ancien cadre de grandes maisons dresse la liste des régions et leurs spécialités, parfois centenaires : la maroquinerie dans la ville de Scandicci, près de Florence ; le textile à Prato, non loin ; les chaussures pour femmes en Vénétie… Il explique comment la plupart des grands noms se retrouvent in fine à tirer profit du travail illégal par un jeu de sous-traitances en cascade, dans un tissu économique très fragmenté : «Disons que je suis un fournisseur tout à fait référencé par Dior, par exemple. L’entreprise me connaît, elle travaille avec moi depuis trois générations. Mais avec l’augmentation des quantités demandées, j’ai dû m’organiser avec d’autres usines, des entreprises de deuxième rang installées ces vingt dernières années qui vont travailler pour moi et qui seront chacune responsables d’une tâche dans la confection d’un produit.» Jusqu’ici, pas de problème a priori. «Sauf que le phénomène s’est répliqué un cran plus bas, avec des troisièmes et quatrièmes niveaux, confirme cette même source. Quand vous visitez ces endroits, vous tombez de votre chaise.»

Et quand des affaires éclatent, les marques réagissent toujours de la même façon : elles disent tout ignorer des pratiques de leurs sous-traitants, rompent leur relation avec l’atelier incriminé, et promettent de renforcer leurs contrôles. Un jeu de dupes. «Les prix pratiqués par les maisons sont tellement bas que les ateliers n’arrivent pas à en vivre correctement, indique Michel. Donc ils s’organisent pour survivre. Et quand vous vous organisez pour survivre, les normes de sécurité, le droit du travail, tout ça passe après.»

«Pratique illégale ancrée et avérée»

La littérature produite par les géants du luxe montre qu’ils n’ignorent en rien cette réalité. Depuis l’exercice 2024, les grandes sociétés françaises cotées en Bourse sont obligées par une directive européenne de publier des informations normées sur leur durabilité sociale et environnementale. En mars et avril 2025, LVMH, Hermès et Kering –les trois leaders du marché en France – ont donc dû s’y coller, sans possibilité de tricher sur ces réponses car celles-ci sont certifiées par des cabinets d’audit. C’est ainsi qu’à la rubrique évaluant l’effet potentiel des entreprises sur les conditions de travail et les droits humains, les trois géants notent eux-mêmes avoir un «impact négatif».

De fait, les cas problématiques se multiplient. En avril 2024, la justice italienne place une société de Giorgio Armani sous administration judiciaire. Dior Italie (propriété de LVMH) suit quelques mois plus tard, suspectée elle aussi d’avoir fermé les yeux sur l’exploitation de travailleurs chez des sous-traitants chinois. En septembre, une enquête du média anglais Business of Fashion (BOF), référence en la matière, rapporte que dans deux usines, des personnes sous-payées, parfois sans papiers, fabriquaient des sacs pour Armani et Dior pour respectivement 75 euros et 53 euros par pièce. Des sacs vendus en boutique par Dior pour 2 600 euros.

«Ce secteur s’est enrichi comme jamais»

L’article accrédite également la thèse d’une organisation dont les marques profitent pour augmenter leurs marges en connaissance de cause. Il cite un rapport du procureur chargé de l’enquête : «Au cours de nos investigations, cette pratique illégale est apparue si profondément ancrée et avérée qu’elle pourrait être considérée comme faisant partie d’une politique commerciale plus vaste visant exclusivement à accroître les profits.» Pourtant, en février, la justice italienne a levé le régime d’administration judiciaire, estimant qu’Armani et Dior ont apporté suffisamment de garanties pour le futur.

Les grandes marques font-elles pour autant durablement évoluer leurs pratiques ? Elles y auraient un intérêt indéniable, selon Sarah Kent, autrice de l’enquête de BOF précédemment ­citée… si leurs consommateurs y étaient sensibles. «Ce n’est pas la première fois qu’une marque de luxe est confrontée à ce genre de scandale, et historiquement, ces informations n’ont pas vraiment marqué les esprits, note la journaliste britannique. Ce qui est un peu différent cette fois-ci, c’est que cette affaire avec Loro Piana arrive à un moment où le scepticisme grandit autour du luxe, notamment sur les réseaux sociaux. L’ampleur des hausses de prix de ces entreprises a déjà suscité de nombreuses interrogations quant à leur légitimité. Si vous ajoutez à cela le fait qu’elles ne produisent pas dans les meilleurs ateliers, cela ne fait pas bonne impression.»

Interrogé sur le cas de Loro Piana, LVMH a transmis quelques éléments de langage à Libération. Le groupe de Bernard Arnault, dont 78 % du chiffre d’affaires a reposé sur la mode et la maroquinerie en 2024, insiste sur le fait que la production italienne de «haute qualité», «est un atout clé pour le pays et le secteur du luxe». Mais il concède que sa structure «fragmentée» et «familiale» peut poser «des défis en matière de transparence et de surveillance». LVMH met aussi en avant les «5 000 audits» qu’il a réalisés l’année dernière en Italie – même si d’après leurs contempteurs, ces contrôles payés par les marques sont trop souvent cosmétiques et annoncés à l’avance aux fournisseurs. «Des zones de fragilité persistent, donc nous devons travailler pour améliorer nos pratiques», ajoute LVMH.

Des arguments qui ne sont pas de nature à convaincre l’anthropologue italienne et chercheuse au CNRS Giulia Mensitieri, qui travaille depuis dix ans sur le luxe. «De telles exploitations ne sont pas exceptionnelles. Elles sont propres à la façon dont le capitalisme fonctionne, insiste l’autrice du livre-enquête le Plus Beau Métier du monde (La Découverte), paru en 2018. On est habitués à penser que ce genre de choses n’arrivent que très loin de chez nous et ne concerne pas le luxe. The Islamist Syrian government is trying to give the impression they support peaceful unity in Syria, with President Ahmed al-Sharaa saying he believed Syria should be unified by some sort of understanding instead of by military force, because the Syrian people are tired of war.

His government’s actions tell a different story though, as after spurning Kurdish integration talks last week and refusing to allow any Druze to attend talks on the violence in Druze territory a few days later, the government is preparing a massive offensive against the Kurds.

I dag finns inte en enda läkare eller person med djupare medicinsk kompetens i myndighetens ledningsgrupp. Det är uppseendeväckande. Det handlar om den myndighet som ansvarar för smittskyddsfrågor i vardag och kris. Chefer utan medicinsk kompetens saknar förmåga att värdera komplexa medicinska frågor, vilket riskerar att leda till felprioriteringar och att viktiga smittskyddsaspekter förbises.
Förändring krävs, och ytterst ar det regeringens ansvar.
Jag har förlorat mitt förtroende för myndigheten och är oroad över dess förmåga att hantera en framtida pandemi som mycket väl kan visa sig bli betydligt allvarligare än den vi just gått igenom. Förändring krävs, och ytterst är det regeringens ansvar att säkerställa att Sverige har en smittskyddsmyndighet som besitter nödvändig kompetens för att kunna fullfölja sitt uppdrag.

@mu I have never used Soundcloud as I have never subscribed to any streaming service so I don't know much about them.

This link does open, but I don't have an account so again cannot follow. I simply don't have a presence on large parts of the Internet, so to "follow" something in most changes would require manually checking a saved link.

Mastodon is the only place I actually follow anything as a result. No streaming accounts, no YT, no FB, no Insta, no Tiktok etc.
