U.S. District Judge Wendy Beetlestone believes that a first-term Trump administration regulation exempting nuns from paying for healthcare plans that cover contraceptives is administratively improper. Want to start or join a movement to fight the beast? Good luck once you get past about fifty people onboard. And with AI and endless data collected on everyone, they'll know which angry man is going to start a movement before the angry man himself even knows.

The commander who demands of fate a 51% chance of success have thereby denied all possibility of an heroic battle.
That is how we lost the war.
The patient who only get a 1 percent chance of an operation to succeed need no 51% chance of success.
What we need are brave leaders.
-Adolf Hitler
Mein Kampf
[quote from memory not verbatim]
White_Powerade
in reply to EvolLove • • •Yeah, except no amount of brave leadership and fortune can really compensate for an overwhelming superiority in enemy resources and numbers.
That was Hitler's greatest mistake. He put too much faith into operational success and the superior morale and martial skill of the German soldier, while neglecting the grand strategy and diplomacy aspects, which ultimately was his undoing.
He was just a humble private after all, not a general or trained strategist. His perspective was too narrow, too many blind spots.
EvolLove
in reply to White_Powerade • • •@vic
That was not at all "Hitlers Greatest mistake" On the contrary that part worked out better than even he had imagined
After he was released the Party rose in popularity. The book Mein Kampf became such a huge success that it made Hitler a wealthy man
Germany dominated the war. German tactics, German tanks, German soldiers
But the west allied themselves with Russia
Hitler never intended to conquer the world
He defended the fatherland against it's enemies
EvolLove
in reply to EvolLove • • •@vic
If Hitlers goal would have been to conquer the world. Yes then it would be true that he failed.
But that was never Hitlers goal.
If anything he was too successful in everything. Thus Germany's success was so great that Germany had to be crushed.
But even that would be a lie. Because the plans to Crush Germany begun before WW1.
If Hitler ever made a mistake I would say that it was in regards to England. He repeated Germany's mistake from WW1
No mercy for UK
White_Powerade
in reply to EvolLove • • •Hitler's stated ambition was to build up Germany and make it great and sovereign again to last a thousand years.
The result of his leadership after 12 years was an utterly ruined Germany torn apart, permanently occupied and shrunk to its smallest size since the Holy Roman Empire was formed. With 20% of its best blood dead and wasted.
So his rule had the exact opposite outcome of his intent.
How or why this came to pass is irrelevant. In politics, intent is meaningless, only outcomes matter before history.
And by this simple metric, Hitler unfortunately was a total and utter failure.
𝔅𝔞𝔱𝔱𝔩𝔢 𝔇𝔴𝔞𝔯𝔣 𝔊𝔦𝔪𝔩𝔦
in reply to White_Powerade • • •By your logic, one single man was responsible for every action and outcome of the war in Europe from 1939 to 1945.
That is absurd, prima facie.
Hitler set about to unify and strengthen Germany. He defeated the English at Dunkirk, and allowed them to escape, according to the rules of Land Warfare at the time. The Jews had previously declared war upon him, and at that time they pulled their levers and whispered in ears, and got the US involved. Had the US never gotten involved (97% of the US population was against the war from the beginning), Europe would have "settled down", England had its wings clipped, and Germany would most likely have been successful.
So, to claim "it was all Adolph's fault" is a very bizarre conclusion.
EvolLove

Thanks for setting the record straight.
I am still learning and thus still unable to word it that elegant.
But that is exactly my thoughts.
As if any leader in human history would have been able to defeat, Rusia, USA, England, at the same time. In the end even Italy was turned against Germany.
To call someone who did not seek this battle a failure is a falsity. Because no one could have done that and Hitler did not cause this war.
