Seeing videos like this all over the place, almost always at small retail stores.

The green revolution isn't going so well.

---
"Scottish Power — led by a Spaniard, Ignacio Galan, and actually a subsidiary of Spanish firm Iberdrola — conceded that some 71 of its turbines had to be hooked up to diesel generators to keep them warm in December, according to the Sunday Mail, with a whistleblower telling the left-leaning newspaper that problems with the turbines are deep-seated.

"“During December 60 turbines at Arecleoch and 11 at Glenn App were de-energised due to a cabling fault… In order to get these turbines re-energised diesel generators were running for upwards of six hours a day,” they revealed.

"Indeed, the Record went on to say that some 4,000 litres (over 1,000 U.S. gallons) of leaking hydraulic oil was “sprayed over the countryside” by the turbines — a less than environmentally-friendly impact.
---

It is also worth noting that only something like 1/5th of power consumption is actually the public energy grid. The majority of energy is already being done using coal, oil, etc., in industrial processes that we all make use of.

Even when are successfully using some green energy in the public power grid, we are only chipping away at the problem.

... and spilling oil, all the while.

All in front of the kids:

"In the background, a young boy can be heard screaming, and at one point, he can be seen punching an airline employee, apparently in defense of the passengers. A witness quoted by the Daily Mail expressed sympathy for the child."

The hell that we create on this earth:

"A senior Nigerian politician plotted to transport a street trader to the UK to harvest one of his organs for as much as £7,000 and the promise of a better life, a court has heard."

...

"The then-deputy president of the Nigerian Senate is on trial at the Old Bailey alongside his wife Beatrice Ekweremadu, 56, their 25-year-old daughter Sonia and medical 'middleman' Dr Obinna Obeta.

"Sonia Ekweremadu is alleged to have been the intended recipient of the kidney in an £80,000 private transplant operation at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, north London.

"The daughter had a 'significant and deteriorating' kidney condition which could be managed through dialysis but cured with a transplant. "
...
"Dr Obeta had distributed a GoFundMe page quoting £60,000 for the private procedure, some £20,000 less than the cost of Sonia's transplant had it gone ahead, it was alleged."
...
"He goes on to say the classmate would need some £2,000 to start the search for candidates and testing.

"The following month, messages between Diwe Ekweremadu and Dr Obeta - forwarded to Ike - revealed that potential donors would travel for screening at a lab in the capital city, Abuja.

"The 21-year-old donor was among them, having been recruited by an acquaintance at a Lagos street market who turned out to be Dr Obeta's kidney donor, the court was told."

It is kind of interesting because an argument can be made that it is a legitimate transaction... One that is, of course, highly questionable. Nobody wants anyone in their family giving up their body parts for money.

We are actually beginning to reach the point where the US is passing people on to Canada:

"City Hall sources said the move was part of a 're-ticketing' plan to help migrants work their way to Canada, according to The New York Post, where president Justin Trudeau has been outspoken about building a haven for people in need.

"Some of the migrants taking the National Guardsmen up on their offer told The Post they were heading to Canada because they felt it would be more welcoming for them and provide better opportunities than the United States."

"The bosses of the prison gangs almost universally reside in SuperMax or some version of administrative segregation. They spend 23 hours in their cells and 1 alone in the grey concrete yard per day... and by and large they are there for life... unable to do... almost anything."

Liberalism to Decadence

Excellent content from Isegoria:

"The premise of the book is simple: the US is a paradox composed of contradictions: its two primary values — freedom and equality — are mutually exclusive. It has many different cultures, and therefore no overall culture. And its market-driven society has given it economic riches but spiritual poverty. As he writes in the book, “American institutions, culture and values oppose the United States itself.”

"For Wang, the US’s contradictions stem from one source: nihilism. The country has become severed from its traditions and is so individualistic it can’t make up its mind what it as a nation believes. Without an overarching culture maintaining its values, the government’s regulatory powers are weak, easily corrupted by lobbying or paralyzed by partisan bickering. As such, the nation’s progress is directed mostly by blind market forces; it obeys not a single command but a cacophony of three hundred million demands that lead it everywhere and nowhere.

"In Wang’s view, the lack of a unifying culture puts a hard limit on the US’s progress. The country is constantly producing wondrous new technologies, but these technologies have no guiding purpose other than their own proliferation. The result is that all technological advancement leads the US along one unfortunate trajectory: toward more and more commodification."

Yacy - Federated Search Engine - Up Again

I have repaired yacy.eskimo.com/, a federated search engine. If you'd like a search engine that neither censors it's results nor tracks your search queries, this is it. It is a federated search engine meaning it will return all indexes from all of the servers on the network.

Non MRNA Covid Vax

This impresses me as a far safer approach though I do not want the spike protein injected in any form, using the capsid protein makes more sense, both because it is less variable and because it doesn't have to enter your cells to get expressed, thus you get protection before infection rather than after.

Redhat Linux Servers - evbug module

Just a warning to anyone running a Redhat based shell server that is accessible from the world, you probably want to add something in /etc/modprobe.d like a file called evbug.conf and in it add "blacklist evbug", else every key stroke you do at the console will get logged in dmesg, and if you do not have this disabled for public reading, anyone can get your root password this way.

calling Jews for Nazis should be the exclusive right of the Jews among themselves, they do that in Israel.

Nelanie Lay Down

I really love Melanies performance in this song. None of her other work really impressed me as being a real powerful singer though it wasn't unpleasant, but this song she definitely belts it out!
in reply to Nanook

The way I identify with this song is that I've been way more passive in my life than I would like, just having it pass by and observing, not being as active as I'd like. Seeing there is so much up for grabs but I seem disempowered to grab it, the feeling one might get when you're too drunk to drive so someone else is driving you home and you're kind of lying with your head up against the window watching things pass by.
