The discussion now could be said to be about culture and maybe religion, for example like how Muhammadists have 'Honor Violence' and 'Honor Killings' because someone did something that has caused the family or clan or fall into 'disregard' or something, within the social context. This might also be the same as how a Crime is said to need some kind of punishment to satisfy the people's sense of justice, maybe not simply to do with whatever paragraphs and such that had been broken. These seem to be about the social group and the rules and 'customs' and perceptions that apply in a given group.

My thought was about a conflict within the same group. Some years ago, it was considered something of a 'revelation' that Labour Party in Great Britain had some quote that was either in the actual newspaper or had been kind of smuggled out, I don't recall, from some 'secret' meeting or whatever, where they said they wanted to 'rub the British people's noses in 'Multiculturism' '... This is not a matter of living up to perceived morality within a group, but is about a certain type of human feeling morally obligated to destroy the own people and anyone who represents it. This is 'cancel culture'. It's what's referred to with that somewhat extreme 'meme' where it says something like 'the left want your children raped and kllled, and they think it's funny...'
