of my countryfolk who could be bothered doing the 2016 Census /and/ responding to the "Religion" bit, only 52% claimed to be Christian. The next most reported "Religion" was "Nope. Nuh-uh. None. Nooo." but more succinctly put. Factor in those who claimed a religion bc they were signed up for at birth, but not actually practising just hedging their bets and ...we're not all that Christ-y a country. Next Census is due in August of this year.
But maybe shop workers deserve a holiday too, which is fair enough. We should keep the holiday (4-5 day weekend) but throw in a few more in honour of atheism/disinterest.

mnnnyeah and then there's mixo and the Calicii virus(although more wbbits are infectedby mix than calici - you can see why we giggled at "Kahleesi" in GoT). OC we still go rabbiting (shooting/trapping) but they generally arent worth eating any more -most if not all of the kill will be suffering infection. i'm sure there are rabbit farms though bc that's just a brilliant idea and wot got us into this situation in the first place XD

indeed, but no. it made things worse. a lot of things we import seem to do that (looking at you, Ruby Princess!), Farmers used to lose their land if they didnt address the rabbit problem (maybe they still do, i dont know, but most have a continuing battle with the wascally fluffywuffs). so we have poisoning, mixo, calici, trapping and shooting and still the wabbits are quite a problem.
oh yeah - we brought foxes in to deal with the rabbits and, well..hahaha thunk

@DavïÐ Låzårµ§ fences (which proved to be quite ineffective) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbit-p… (article also mentions the introduction of camels to the region XD offs). The movie was filmed in anumber of locations, including NSW and South Australia It's great in its own right but only loosely follows the real story - but is wonderful, nonetheless.
@Peter Oram aha! and thankyou 😀 gaddam vermin they be, aye.
