Ofer Cassif is the only Jewish member of the Knesset to vote against the bills to ban UNRWA. He has been handed a near total parliamentary ban by the Israeli Knesset's Ethics Committee for supporting the South African genocide case at the ICJ & for statements supporting the Palestinian struggle.
Ofer is another living, breathing evidence that it was never about Jews vs Palestinians. It's about those who support, uphold, and enforce apartheid against those who fight it.

Cornell has been cracking down on the students that demand that the university cut ties with the weapons manufacturers connected to the genocide against the Palestinian people. It is doing so in ethically-questionable ways and I seem to have caught the university misleading a student about something. Read the piece here:

**Biden's Legacy Is Genocide, War, And Nuclear Brinkmanship**
>Biden spent his entire career promoting war and militarism at every opportunity, and then spent the twilight years of his time in Washington choosing to continue supplying an active genocide that is fully dependent on US-supplied arms.
>He refused off-ramp after off-ramp to the horrific war in Ukraine that has burned through a generation of men in that country, which he knowingly provoked by amassing a military proxy threat on Russia’s border in ways the US would never tolerate being amassed on its own border.
with the possibility of street action picking up again in the coming months, here's a guide i wrote to help ppl prepare for what to expect when there's a possibility of getting arrested (and maybe why they want to avoid it whenever possible)

This is of course the most basic war crime, violating the foundation of all the Geneva Conventions and all that builds on it, once again.
Trump wants to jail journalists and this is just a reminder that the Biden Administration, over the summer, made it much easier for him to do so by exacting a plea deal from Assange.
The Biden Administration used the Espionage Act in a move that was completely unnecessary and now further jeopardizes the profession.
I am certain the Trump administration will use this, going forward. Thanks, Biden.

At the beginning of his administration, Biden passed some laws on domestic terrorism. Back then, the main culprit was the "far right", but the law also applied to "far left extremism".
Next January, those laws will still be in place, but it'll be the Trump regime the one that gets a shot at applying them.
Never trust the Liberals, they are the left foot to the reactionaries right foot, both attached to the same body: capital.
Jeremy Loffredo is an American journalist who was recently held behind bars by "Israel" for 4 days for doing his job. He wrote today:
According to Addameer, a prisoner rights NGO based in Ramallah, one form of “duel torture” used at the Al Moscobiyeh interrogation center [where I was held in solitary confinement for committing journalism] involves deliberately moving a prisoner to the cell next to another security detainee and torturing them. The intention is to subject the detainee to the sounds of their fellow inmate’s screams and cries, amplifying their psychological torment.
On October 11th, despite an Israeli court order for my release, I was returned to my solitary confinement cell without explanation. Shortly after, a Palestinian prisoner was deliberately placed in the cell next to mine and subjected to brutal torture for approximately three hours.
The sounds of his screams and cries filled my cell — an inescapable reminder of the incredible cruelty being inflicted just beyond my reach. When the noise finally stopped, two intelligence officers came to my cell and transported me to a military base in the West Bank for interrogation.
After learning that this is an unofficial method of torture and torment, it’s clear to me that the intent was to instill fear before my interrogation, to pressure me into a confession or an admission of guilt.
The Democrats ran a campaign on genocide, locally, globally.
22 billion dollars spent on exterminating an indigenous Muslim population suffering under apartheid. Wheeled out a Cheney towards the end as a fuck you to all Muslim voters. Had Bill Clinton push a speech about how Palestinians, well they actually deserve it and all the deaths weren't even that much.
The Democrats in power ran concentration camps via ICE, maintained and accelerated mass deportations. Approved and funded further border wall nonsense. 1 million dead from Covid. Opposed federal funding for abortion, refused to make abortion a right, instead leveraging it as a voting issue as 100s of women, mostly Black, died from pregnancy complications after Roe vs. Wade was repealed. Was against medical rights for trans people. Supported torture programs, supported increased domestic surveillance, supported massive increases in police funding and powers. Supported fracking and increased oil drilling. STILL refuses to lift sanctions against Cuba who can't import basic materials to build necessary infrastructure like power stations.
Fascism isn't coming to America because the Democrats lost. Fascism is America and the current Democratic party revelled in it.
Why y'all worrying about the poor white liberals who voted for a genocidal government that has lost? Not a peep about the Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrians, Iranians, Yemenis, Iraqis that Israel is bombing? Not a word about the Indigenous nations still suffering under colonial rule? Never a sound about the continued state violence against Black people?
You should be celebrating the fact the Democrats lost. They ran on genocide. They knew stopping the genocide in Palestine would win them key states they lost in. They chose not to. They were punished. Rightly so. They absolutely should not have been rewarded.
If you have one takeaway from this election, it's don't rely on governments. Not locally. Not nationally. Check in with your neighbours. Check in with your friends. Organise locally, communally and support your locally oppressed communities.

>“Has there ever been a time in our history,” he writes, “when our nation is knowingly providing arms to another nation using those weapons to kill children, women, innocent people and target the press, doctors and medical workers? And policies enabling this are supported it seems by both candidates?
“We can and must acknowledge concerns for democracy and the Jan 6 episode and the horific [sic] Oct Hamas attacks,” he continued. “But how do we ignore the counter issues of the innocents being killed now? Do we accept that indeed genocide is happening and that we stand as a country of willing arms suppliers and yet remain silent?”
