His name was Monster because he was a very large grey tabby, a real gentle giant of a cat. He died from his bone marrow's inability to make blood because of it several months later. He is one of seven cats I've had in my life but by far the most loving animal I ever had. In spite of the really short time I had him, his death really hurt. I fully understand that grief.
