@The Conversation U.S. Yes fluoride hardens enamel making it less susceptible to cavities, it also makes it more brittle and susceptible to breakage, it also does the same for bones, and it also is carcinogenic. But great that you don't have cavities. If you really want to trade more brittle teeth for cavities, it's far better to get a dental treatment so at least you're not ruining your skeleton as well.

Found this clock today, 20 inches diameter. Works fine, just needed a new battery.

I'm not sure what I think about the white on white background though, I might one day open it up and use a black marker to color in the Roman Numerals for better contrast.

Sorry for potato quality, Lemmy kept timing out so I had to reduce photo quality to knock the image size down.

Some years ago I tried out all the different messaging apps like this on my phone and came to the same conclusion... Matrix.

Unfortunately Element had some strange issues that I kept encountering and ultimately I quit using it.

I had no idea the app had been split into two different versions. At some point I'll need to give it a try again.
