@The Conversation U.S. Yes fluoride hardens enamel making it less susceptible to cavities, it also makes it more brittle and susceptible to breakage, it also does the same for bones, and it also is carcinogenic. But great that you don't have cavities. If you really want to trade more brittle teeth for cavities, it's far better to get a dental treatment so at least you're not ruining your skeleton as well.
