Oh, wow the engagement on this. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes. I can not tell you how much it means to me.

It was a good birthday. We spent the day together, and he took me to this place in town we like going too. It was just a good positive experience. It was the first time in God knows how long that I've had a meaningful birthday. All I can say is thank you. @verita84 I for one am very happy XLibre is happening, but I am still using the Kernel based Xserver because, with Intel video hardware, it has by far the best performance.

When Wayland first came out, at first I was annoyed and concerned, because they neglected any network support. Then the Wayland on Wires project was supposed to fix that. I never got it to work, so on native kernel X I remain. At some point I may want to migrate away from Intel graphics so it would be nice to have some options, without networking, Wayland isn't it.

For such a small cat it has a high metabolism and eats a lot. I don't know if you could domesticate one but if you tried it probably you had a house and home. Then again people keep lions and tigers. It'd be a good cat to bring in to clear out an area infested with rodents or something else it likes to eat, because it gets one every 15 minutes.

At this point, I'm sorry to tell you, we have no idea who is alive and who is dead; who is a double; who is wearing a mask; what is being bombed at this moment or what is film from prior actions.

I think "#slop" is a strong contender for #word of the year 2025, as it seems to be #universally recognizable as a description for the majority of output produced in the name of Return on #Investment.

Sure it means #algorithmically generative slop now, but look at housing construction, durable appliances, food, automobiles, you name it and tell me it's not just more slop. If enshittification is the process, slop is the result.
