The Dev One is a device that targets developers. It's made out of aluminium, and the chassis is very rigid, with almost no deck flex at all.

The device itself has a wedge shape, and it's pretty thin, at less than 2cm at its thickest point. It weighs less than 1.5 kilograms, although it does feel relatively heavy and solid.

The screen is covered in glass, and so it's pretty reflective and susceptible to fingerprints. It's 14 inch, at 1920 by 1080, and it can go up to 1000 nits of brightness.

The bezels are relatively large for today's standards, but they're nothing to complain about, and the top one hosts a 720p webcam, with a privacy shutter included, which is cool, no need for duct tape or post it notes.

The webcam is your usual potato quality, it's not full HD, it's a bit grainy, and it doesn't handle lighting very well. The microphone isn't bad at all though.

Let's move on to the I/O. On the left side, you have your kensington lock, and 2 USB A ports that go up to 5 Gigabits per second, as well as the holy headphone jack.

On the right side, you have the port for the barrel charger included in the box, an HDMI 2.0 port, and 2 USB C 10 Gigabit per second that also support display port and charging.

The speakers are really good, and don't distort at all, even on max volume.

The keys feel solid, very stable, and actuate well, even the spacebar when you press it on the very side. They included a little nub as well. The touchpad appropriately has 2 buttons on top, so you can click while using the nub, but that unfortunately reduces the surface for touchpad users like me, an there is no clickable middle button. Still, that touchpad is really, really good.

In terms of internals, the Dev One only comes in one configuration: a Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage.

The CPU is 8 core, 16 threads, and has a base clock of 1.9Ghz, up to 4.4Ghz when boosting. It's a very, very powerful beast indeed, with a geekbench score of 1550 in singlecore and 7707 in multi core.

As per battery life, I left the laptop on a youtube loop with firefox, over wifi, at mid brightness, and it lasted for 8h30 hours before shutting down. On a more typical workload, I used it to write scripts, using firefox and nextcloud notes, listening to music, with wifi on, a bluetooth mouse, and mid brightness, and it lasted for 7 hours.

Ok, let's move on to the software. The dev One runs popOS 22.04, and there's been a lot of work done by both teams on that front.

The integration goes up to the support as well: just like a System76 laptop, you can create a support ticket right from the settings, and HP has a dedicated support team for that device to ensure things run smoothly, with a process to pass on tickets to system76 if they're software related.

There are some kinks to the software, though: first you have to agree to a license agreement to use the device. Then, there's the analytics. It's completely opt-in and not enabled by default.

The Dev One can be purchased with 2 accessories. The Hp Wireless Creator Mouse, and the launch keyboard from System76.

Le 14 juillet 1935, le grand dĂ©filĂ© parisien du Front populaire impulsĂ© par le PCF et par la CGTU sous les plis mĂȘlĂ©s des drapeaux rouges et tricolores se concluait au stade Buffalo aux accents de la Marseillaise et de l’Internationale tour Ă  tour entonnĂ©es par Jacques Duclos. Allait suivre la victoire du Front populaire aux Ă©lections de 36 avec Ă  la clef, la dissolution des ligues fascistes, les grĂšves accompagnĂ©es des occupations d’usine, de grandes avancĂ©es sociales et surtout
. la classe ouvriĂšre devenant pour la premiĂšre fois l’avant-garde reconnue de la Nation Ă  l’initiative du Parti communiste français.

Le 14 juillet 1945, une immense manifestation parisienne cĂ©lĂ©brait la victoire des peuples sur le nazisme Ă  l’issue. Eh bien, le 14 juillet 2025 dessinĂ© par Macron se situera aux antipodes de ces deux 14 juillet dignes du grandiose 14 juillet 1789. Sous l’impulsion du pouvoir actuel, la France officielle est en effet devenue le fer de lance de la marche Ă  la guerre continentale que projette l’UE-OTAN arrimĂ©e aux dirigeants maladivement anti-russes de Londres. En tĂ©moigne le trĂšs agressif pacte militaire conclu ce 10 juillet, sans la moindre consultation prĂ©alable des deux Parlements nationaux concernĂ©s, par MM. Macron et Starmer en vue de la coordination des forces nuclĂ©aires anglaise et française. Cette marche de plus en plus prĂ©cipitĂ©e des forces euro-atlantiques vers le « conflit global de haute intensitĂ© » tournĂ© contre la Russie, mais aussi contre la Chine populaire (ouvertement ciblĂ©e par la cheffe de la « diplomatie » europĂ©enne Kaja Kallas), vise Ă  maintenir l’hĂ©gĂ©monie planĂ©taire chancelante de l’Axe euro-atlantique (flanquĂ© du rĂ©gime pronazi de Kiev et des dirigeants gĂ©nocidaires d’IsraĂ«l !) sur la « majoritĂ© mondiale » que reprĂ©sente notamment le mouvement planĂ©taire des BRICS. Y compris si cette hĂ©gĂ©monie devait ĂȘtre prĂ©servĂ©e au prix d’une troisiĂšme guerre mondiale possiblement exterminatrice pour notre pays, si ce n’est pour toute l’humanitĂ©, voire pour l’ensemble du vivant ?

Ajoutons que le prĂ©tendu « isolationnisme » de Donald Trump et son soi-disant « abandon » de Kiev relĂšvent en rĂ©alitĂ© d’une nouvelle division du travail entre les forces euro-atlantiques, Trump prĂ©parant avant tout une guerre d’agression contre la Chine sur fond de mainmise israĂ©lo-amĂ©ricaine sur le Proche-Orient alors que l’UE, Ă  nouveau dominĂ©e par l’impĂ©rialisme allemand en plein rĂ©armement, est chargĂ©e par Trump de mener la charge contre la FĂ©dĂ©ration de Russie.

En outre, la marche Ă  la guerre impĂ©rialiste s’accompagne comme toujours d’une rĂ©gression sociale massive que le gouvernement Bayrou-Retailleau est chargĂ© de mener contre ce qui subsiste des conquĂȘtes de la LibĂ©ration et du produire en France industriel, halieutique et agricole.

Enfin, les processus de fascisation de l’UE, mais aussi de la Ve « RĂ©publique » en voie de dissolution dans l’État fĂ©dĂ©ral europĂ©en en gestation, s’accĂ©lĂšrent sur fond de montĂ©e des extrĂȘmes droites et d’euro-criminalisation des mouvements de soutien Ă  Gaza. Du reste, l’euro-banalisation des nĂ©onazis kiĂ©viens s’accompagne de persĂ©cutions anticommunistes caractĂ©risĂ©es (TchĂ©quie, Ukraine, Pologne
