Next time they tell you about all the species going extinct, remember that it takes at least 70 years of careful observation to establish if the species actually disappeared.

The eco-fascists talk about hundreds of thousands of "disappearing species". They cannot possibly monitor hundreds of thousands of species and they only started the observations like 10-20 years ago and most of the allegedly disappearing species are insects, worms, fish etc. 🤣
Worse: they take any random spot in, say, a tropical forest, try (!) to collect samples of all the species present by catching them in large soil samples etc. and then repeat again every year.
Species they don't catch repeatedly are considered "threatened".
They make up ridiculous numbers out of thin air to scare people into paying more taxes...
