@dudgeon One does not need to seek out pain, it WILL come to them. When it does, learn it's lessons well, else it will come back and repeat them. There is nothing glorious or worthy in it's experience, it is just biology doing what it is designed to do, stick your hand in the fire, it hurts, pull it back.

@dudgeon I simply do not share your viewpoint, your life experience or your position in the path of life. It's not a trees verses forest issue, I don't just see a forest or even a continent or even a whole planet, I see a universe of twenty trillion visible galaxies and maybe an infinity beyond that, and that perspective does give me a slightly different viewpoint on human perspective. I try to help where I can and if you feel you can only learn from pain well that's your option too, not one that I would choose, but when pain does come my way I don't glorify it, I extract whatever information I can and learn from it.
