Think, unless your using a real old device, Googles app data backups are all now end to end encrypted and have been for a few years

So with these kind of cycle tracking apps on Android the concern is likely more if they have network permission & directly collect your data. @SylvieLorxu @futureisfoss @fdroidorg

Unknown parent • • •OK so firmware updates are still an issue, understood. But in comparison to outdated firmware AND operating system, its better to at least have an updated operating system.
Throwing away your devices after using them for a year or two is promoted by the vicious consumerism, and this is bad on so many levels. That is why I like to keep using devices for longer.
