Not very mysterious. There is a big wave of migration going on, presumably caused by Musk's ramping up of the campaign on X, so naturally the conversation will be about the migration, what it means for being on here, what it's like here. People talk about social media on social media too.

It's not a trivial or dysfunctionally parochial topic. Many are here because of what Musk has done to the social media ecosystem and likewise what Meta did with Facebook and Threads. Whether BS can be a better contributor to democracy is an important thing to work out IMO.
