Obviously this individual doesn't know what gridlock means. You can't have gridlock without a grid, i.e., cross streets, which you don't have on a freeway. This is just an example of what happens when demand exceeds supply which is what happens in states like California, Washington, Illinois, and New York, where you take all your gas tax money and use it to buy luxury hotels and cars for illegal immigrants instead of maintaining the roadways as required.
