dark jokes aside, what worries me here is the fact that if Iran escalates to the point of sinking US navy (and I'm not sure if it has the capability, but for the sake of the argument, ya know, let's assume they can do that), Trump will need to either fold or escalate right back, and he doesn't strike me like a guy who would admit defeat, so....

@🌈ᚩ🌈 I don't find the concept of ANYONE getting "glassed" funny, it's unfortunate that a few power made greedy people control a whole population in both countries, they should drop the leaders of both nations on a desert island somewhere and just forget about them, either they kill each other or cooperate to survive, either way they're at least out of the opportunity to harm their respective populations.

@nanook of course the money could be spend better, but taxes aren't there to make the place better. they are there to make a handful of autocrats rich. the few things that the population profits from are done to keep the population calm. bread and games.

so, if one is angry about it or relaxes and enjoys the show changes nothing. only that angry people act irrational.

only thing one can realistically change is things around them, and if everyone would do it, things would look different.

@Pi_rat @🌈ᚩ🌈 Could be and who knows. I just know as a planet we are running out of a resource we need to produce and transport our food and ruining our atmosphere in the process and we are not taking our situation seriously enough to address it instead we're fighting over the remaining crumbs. I would rather we start baking a larger pie than fighting over the remaining scraps. I can find humor in many dark areas but this is not one.
