@Hudson Lacerda* And on that note, Wikipedia is wrong concerning The Bible, like most things, it says, Cats, this animal is mentioned not once in the protestant Bible, yet, The Lion of Judah is mentioned in the Book of Revelation, as a term representing Jesus, according to Christian theology. Last time I checked, Lions were cats.
@Hudson Lacerda* I'm sorry but I don't make the distinction between domestic and wild cats that you do, anyone who has cats and has observed their behavior knows that unlike dogs, cats are not domesticated in any true sense of the word.
I am justing pointing out that Felis and Panthera are different genera. The animals in the cartoon above are cats (in a strict sense, a species of felids), not lions (certain big felids).
@Hudson Lacerda* Since the original reference to cats was in English, since I've only read English translations of the Bible, most frequently New King James version though sometimes I go for the older King James just for the poetic sense of the language, I feel perfectly justified in my comment. If you don't agree, I'm sure the world won't grind to a halt.
