I report to the CFO. Today I sent a question to her and the CEO, and she said it "doesn't look great" that I'm sending him questions without running them by her first. To which I responded, "Sorry, I thought we had an open door policy."
... something tells me that's not stinging her as harshly as I'd like it to. I fear I am finding myself working under an insecure overcompensating female again.

In the meantime, I'm going to keep fighting the current organization. Even though my work bestie keeps warning me to give up and lay low, I can't keep quiet about the problems as I see them.
