Unknown parent • •@cranston Yes it's the same as the "peak oil" scam of the 80's, create artificial scarcity drive up prices and profits.
But now that the debate is here, need to get some non-propaganda information out there.
Beyond that, I am in favor of sustainable energy because I realize extractive technologies only get more expensive and what we need is less expensive not more expensive energy. But I don't think we should be shutting down existing sources when they are still needed and economics will determine when they are not.

in reply to Nanook • •@Nanook yeah, there's peak oil, and then there's the "peak oil" scam ... such issues bring the scammers out of the woodwork. and the psychopaths-in-charge can make it happen faster.
what amazes me to no end, is how the underlying issue can be nothing at all. there's "Global Warming" ... no there isn't. there's the "Deadly Virus" ... really? naah, not really.
