@nanook I agree with you to a certain extent but only because definition of neoconservative matches a profile of a lefty from few decades ago. Otherwise I think that the number of people voting republican is way understated.
@OneEyeKing This is perhaps a function of your geography, not at all the case here in Washington, here they put a tax on the sales of white peoples homes so that blacks can get a forgivable low interest loan to pay their deposit on a mortgage. This kind of eliminates the purpose since they still have no skin in the game as it were. We have the third highest gasoline tax in the nation and carbon cap and trade bullshit that add perhaps another 40 cents to that, but our roads are absolute shit, all the money goes to buying luxury hotels and cars for illegal immigrants and not to our needs, definitely not the product of "responsible voting".
@nanook I'm in a deep blue NJ and I think that the numbers of people voting for liberalism are overstated. Yes, most of the hood zombies vote for free money but there is a healthy amount of blue collar workers that are fed up. I think that the next governor of NJ will be another Chris Christie RINO for that reason. It's not a problem with voters. It's a problem created by the gate keepers. True conservatives are eliminated by the party in the primaries.
@OneEyeKing Unfortunately people here haven't gotten sufficiently fed up yet. Our state just approved a budget with 8 billion in new taxes, when the population is 8 million, and it's all going to house illegals, buy them cars, and screw the rest of us. I had hoped when we got rid of Jay Inslee it would get better, but Bob Ferguson has proven to be just as bad.
