I just had a discussion with a commie who thought the Soviet Union was a success 
I mean not even the people living in the former soviet union think that the soviet union was a success. First of all, everyone was forced to speak Russian in School and they all hated it.
Even the Russians don't want the Soviet union. They learned the hard way that plan economy doesn't work. They are richer now. Stronger than ever.
But they still have a long way to go. The Communist period really hurt them. Just imagine where they would have been today if not for the communist terror.
