I think all the tent cities we have around us are a pretty good indication that employment is anything but full as Sleepy Joe alleges. Further those that are employed still aren't making enough to survive. Energy, under Joe, which underlies every aspect of our economy simply is too expensive and not sufficiently abundant. Wind and Solar can not substitute for fossil fuels because of their intermittent nature. The fact that the best resources often exist where no transmission lines do is also problematic. Hydroelectric is pretty much already fully exploited. So is pumped hydro energy storage. So nambie-pambie ain't gonna get us where we need to be. Molten salt breeder reactors breeding fertile Thorium-232 into Uranium-233 are an option, and we've now made fusion work in terms of actually producing more energy than it consumes, so if we put a crash effort into finishing the engineering that could work, lastly geo-thermal with some new drilling technologies that can economically drill down ten miles is also an option. We need to take away the heroin, fentynal, crack, etc, from these people in tent cities and put them to work developing these technologies at an actual livable wage. Sleepy Joe isn't going to do that for us.
