Unknown parent • • •They use the $$ on another road but they must notify US DOT of what they are doing so records stay correct. New road must be pre-approved for Federal funds.

It won't make a damn bit of difference, but most of the bike lanes, pedestrian islands and public transportation projects have called out "safety" as their motivation. This decision contradicts their claim.
The rainbow crosswalks and BLM street murals are a distraction.
