How is this any different than PeerTube?
Pretty sure I can't see Pixelfed content on PeerTube, and vice-versa.
Come to think of it, even within mainline fedi I rarely see (if I even have seen) any PeerTube content in my global timeline.
But nobody is complaining about not being seeing PeerTube content anywhere.
Pixelfed has got a LOT of issues but if Daniel is trying to replicate Instagram then his design choices make sense to me.
Insta was popular because it provided a novel paradigm for users that they loved.
